About

Art is what you make it

I started Etsy as a means for some extra money for my family. I was once a stay at home mom. My other Etsy shop The Thread Junky became popular, but making friendship bracelets can be very time consuming with very little rewards. However, at the time anything was better than nothing.

About a year after friendship bracelets I came into contact with T-shirt yarn. At first I started buying it, then thought how much cheaper it would be to make myself. I taught myself to crochet and found a tutorial on cutting t-shirt yarn. After making a couple rugs I attempted to sell the cut yarn. It was very popular.

After many years of staying at home with my children, I have finally been able to return back to school and finish my teaching degree. I graduated in May 2016 and got a job right away teaching 3rd graders! During the school year, my supply may be limited, but summers will be full of yarn making!

I have a very eclectic background. Just about anything interests me as long as I'm keeping my hands busy. Making things makes me happy. I'm even happier knowing the things I make, make others happy as well.

Shipping
I ship all my yarns USPS First Class in recycled materials when possible. I am trying to limit my use of paper so there will only be a mini card on the yarn showing the yardage, wpi, and the fiber the shirt is made out of. I overestimate on shipping at times and will refund anything over $1.

If you would like to upgrade shipping please contact me for rates.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds and exchanges will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

Don't be afraid to convo me with requests for certain colors. I can always look to see what I have or can get.
