5 out of 5 starsTruly impressed with the photo quality print on this one! Excellent little beach towel. Graphics are wonderful and soft with a cotton terry obverse. Quality items as always from Mechanical Whispers.

Frequently asked questions
Are all of these your designs?
Yes, my creations are entirely my designs, either hand drawn, hand sculpted, or sourced from the public domain, and not available anywhere else. I spend a lot of time creating items that I, myself would want, and make them as detailed as possible for maximum impact.
How are the bone items made?
Each bone is ethically sourced, and 3D scanned in high detail using a photogrammetry processes. I then size each bone proportionately in relation to each other, and in preparation for 3D printing the final designs. This process retains all the natural detail of the bones, and keeps them anatomically correct.
Can you really 3D print silver and gold?
The silver, gold, bronze, and brass jewelry are 3D printed in castable wax, then cast using the traditional lost wax processes.
Are the steel items 3D printed as well?
The process for 3D printing steel is different from silver, gold, bronze, and brass. Steel is 3D printed in layers using a binder jetting process and is later infused with bronze, creating a material that is 60% steel and 40% bronze and can range in color from a silver gray to reddish bronze. Because of the nature of this process, it retains less detail than the other casting process, and has a much rougher, aged appearance.
Do you do custom orders, personalized items, or commissions?
I am open to doing any and all customized orders. Please feel free to get in touch and let me know how I can help make it happen.
