History of Medlin Traders
Medlin Traders started as a leather shop in Lexington KY in the late 80s. In the mid 90s we had a rapid expansion and grew to 7 retail locations as well as maintaining over 30 wholesale accounts. We manufactured belts for these stores as well as other small leather goods. We also did several craft shows and traveled the fair and festival circuit in the area as well as setting up at the Kentucky Horse Park several times a year. We were at The Southern Lights Craft Show for 10 years in a row. In 2004 the owner made the decision to relocate to Western Kentucky because his father had been diagnosed with cancer. The business was put on hold for a few years as he spent time with his father who has since passed away. After some years of inventory just sitting in the garage we have decided to revive the business and put our high quality products back in the marketplace where they belong. We have decided to start by clearing out some of our inventory that has been boxed up for years. We will also be adding new products as we get time. We have the leather shop back up and ready for production. We are also going to add woodworking as a new line of products since the current shop location will not support a standalone leather shop as well as the Lexington location did in the past. Our business will be ever evolving and new products will be added as we are always looking for new ideas.
we have added printing to our line of offered products. We can now do printing on metals, wood, leather, glass etc. we also are now offering custom vinyl decals.
