About me

I had a very nerdy childhood spent reading science and nature books, doodling and writing stories. As an adult, that hunger for knowledge continues, and is a driving force behind my art. I love learning about anything from stories of the past, life cycles, and folktales passed on through the generations. I feel perfectly at home in old museums, perusing dusty shelves and getting lost in the woods.
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by forests, mountains, and the ocean, shaped my appreciation for nature as well as my color palette. The sheer magnitude of the natural world is deeply inspiring - the shape of petals, the sunlight dappled through trees, the color of the ocean, the craggy, harsh texture of barnacle-encrusted rocks.

In my paintings I not only aim to capture the world around me, but also create my own.

I do all of my work out of my home studio, which is a small cottage filled with antiques, plants and spiders (you will not receive any spiders in your order). I primarily work with acrylic paints, and once in a blue moon, gouache. While most of my prints are from traditional media paintings, I also design many of my products digitally on Photoshop or Procreate. I started this shop in 2012 while I was in college, and it's been an amazing ride ever since.
Thanks for reading!

Buyers are responsible for providing a valid and up to date mailing address. Orders are shipped out roughly 1-2 times a week, Monday-Friday. US orders typically take 2-10 business days to transit, and international can range anywhere between 1-8 weeks depending on customs. Please note that these are estimates and not guarantees. We do not accommodate rush order requests.

FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
• Delivery confirmation (tracking) is included for orders to the US and many countries including Canada, Australia, UK/EU

Frequently asked questions
Oh no! You're sold out of _____! Will you have more?

Most of the time, If something is sold out I'm in the process of restocking. This can oftentimes take weeks or even months depending on the item. If something is limited edition/discontinuing, I'll usually try to say so in the listing.
AS OF NOV/DEC 2020, here are the items that are scheduled to be restocked: Anima Mundi tarot, winter altar cloths, patches
Things that are NOT getting restocked: t-shirts and tanks, white witch's herb mugs.
For items that will be restocked, you should be able to sign up for restock notifications on the listing page.

I'm an international buyer. Is VAT/GST/etc. included in my purchase?

Edit: Etsy now collects VAT/GST for buyers in Australia, UK and Norway. Other than this, nope!

I am a small business based out of the US that is not registered to collect any VAT/GST/other taxes for foreign countries. Therefore the price you pay is purely for my item(s) + shipping. If you live outside of the US you may be subject to these charges when your order arrives, which is your responsibility.

Do you do custom artwork/commissions?

Once in a blue moon I will take private commissions. I will usually offer a limited number of slots, which will be announced in advance on my Instagram @ thecreepingmoon
I am available for commercial projects - book covers, game art, spot illustrations, etc. If you are an art director please contact me at thecreepingmoon @ gmail . com

Can I get this tattooed on me?

I allow tattoos. I do not charge a fee, but would ask that you purchase something from my shop in support. What I do require is that both you and the tattoo artist credit me whenever posting on social media (tag @thecreepingmoon).

I have a retail shop and want to carry your products! Do you wholesale?

Yes I do! I offer wholesale for card decks, prints, pins and more. If you are interested, please message me with a link to your store and I'll send you a line sheet!
Please note that I do not accept new wholesale clients during the months of November/December.

Are any previous editions from the tarot/oracle deck for sale? Will you be making any revisions to the deck for future editions?

Sorry, no! I don't keep previous editions on hand. Once they're gone they're gone.
I am not planning on making any more artwork revisions to the deck. This includes borderless/pip-less/etc versions. I'd much rather spend that time and energy making new things, including new decks! Thanks for understanding.

Are there any cheaper shipping options? Do you ship with UPS/Fedex?

Nope! I ship with the US Postal Service which offers the most economical shipping prices.
Shipping is calculated by weight, so if your package has a high shipping price it's most likely because the contents weigh a lot. The prices you see are calculated for the cheapest and SAFEST shipping method I can find (I'm not going to throw your print in a letter envelope and hope for the best).
At this time I do not ship with UPS/Fedex.

Do you do collaborations with influencers/tarot readers in exchange for reviews?

Nope.
