Creativity Follows Me

As far back as I can remember I have always been into some crafty project. From my pipe cleaner animal forest to my toothpick bridge there was always something I was getting into. My mom had great patience with the paper and glue messes I made along the way, and I am thankful that she encouraged me to keep at it.

Today my creative knack still runs strong and I love getting my hands involved. Growing up in Florida most of my life I have been surrounded by the nature and the ocean. Never taking it for granted I try to experience the outdoors as often as I can. This influences much of my inspiration to make things.

My clay making is one of my newer endeavors just staring this in the last few years. From the moment I made my first little clay bird I just knew this art form called my name. This gave me a way to bring to life all kinds of fun little animals I doodled on paper. Looking at them just makes me happy! These are available on the Etsy shop you are currently viewing:

Making jewelry on the other hand is something I have been doing on and off for over a decade. I will never forget a visit to my aunts house in Wisconsin in 2001. She showed me how to do a seed bead daisy chain and gave me some of her own beads so I could keep making things. She would be proud knowing I am still doing this craft today. View these on my separate Etsy jewelry shop:

I am so glad to be able to share some of the things I make with others. It is beyond rewarding to find out someone, sometimes across the world, finds something you make special enough to purchase it.

I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I do.
