About

I am a creative person who enjoys working with my hands to create one of a kind high quality items.

I have been creating and using my hands since childhood. I come from a creative family and I was brought up loving the fact that I was able to work alongside my grandfather is his wood shop and cook and sew with my grandmother. Throughout high school I worked with a number of mediums such as silk flowers, where I made wreaths and floral arrangements. I also made curtains, pillows, blankets and some clothing. I also enjoy purchasing old worn out furniture and bringing it back to life with some paint and creativity.

I took a 3 year Interior Design course in college and worked with a number of amazing people who taught me the fundamentals of design. From there I continued to learn new techniques such as abstract painting on canvas and painting landscapes. I also have been making jewellery since I was a teenager. I loved wearing my own designs and having people compliment on them and being able to say "Yes I Made This".

I have always loved the stained glass windows in churches so a few years ago I took a course in stained glass. I immediately fell in love with the beautiful colours. I have since made a number of sun catchers, night lights and panels.

I have been selling my art for many years at yard sales, my local annual church sale, and community craft shows at different venues. I decide to join the Etsy community back in 2009. I have only made a few sales on-line, but I have made a lot of great connections through Etsy and have met many amazing people, which have lead to sales elsewhere.

Over the last few months I have had the privilege to sell my jewellery and stained glass night lights at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery in Oshawa in their gift shop.
