Meggilu did a fantastic job with my El. The detail is beautiful and even more so in person. She packaged everything well and communication was quick! Well worth the wait!

I received Evey today and I couldn't be happier with her. She's a pretty girl. Intricate hairstyle.

Finished my first full repaint on a Ever After High C.A. Cupid. I will paint more and have them for sale soon! (Tag is just because Etsy doesn't let me update without tagging a listing. It's odd.)
Starting commissions as the weather is now not so terrible to keep my window open. sweat_smile

I'm happiest when creating.

I began customizing dolls in 2006 when I received my first Blythe doll, Evey. Later, through association, I stumbled upon ball-jointed-dolls and became instantly enamored. Using my Blythe customization as examples I offered free face-up services on Den of Angels in 2008, as I didn't have money to buy my own practice BJD. I really owe a lot to that first person who took a chance on me and let me do my first face-up on their doll. It was far from perfect, but they loved it, and I quickly got addicted to the process. Now, after a long length of time, I am here today with a bit more confidence and quality, and lucky to have people who love my work. I still have much more progress and characters to make! So, I open my shop and services to those who are hoping to have fun creating with me!

Thank you!

♥Artist Services Disclaimer♥

– My Rights –
I uphold the right to deny services at any time. Face-up service can be turned down if I feel I am not capable of doing what is asked. Always be aware that situations may occur that cause me to have to halt commissions, even if there are still clients' dolls on their way or in my possession. They will be returned to their owner, face up or not, current face up intact or wiped, depending on the situation. (See refund policy for more information).

– I Do Not Accept –
Reservations for dolls not yet purchased, vinyl dolls, other non-BJDs, and unofficial recasts.

– Work Time –
Dolls are worked on in order they are received. I try to complete within 6-8 weeks of their arrival but can take longer depending on current work-load.

– Do-Overs –
A do-over can be requested, within face-up completion and 7 days after doll arrives home, for free only once per face-up. A fee of 50-100% of the initial total will be billed for any do-overs requested or required thereafter, depending on complexity and time passed.

– Damage –
Face-ups are delicate. I package dolls for the trip home as safely as I can, but damage to the face-up in transit is always possible, even with face masks. Be aware you are shipping at your own risk. If your doll suffers damage from shipping, contact me asap to see if it is fixable without a redo.

♥Digital Content Disclaimer♥

Digital content (patterns, tutorials, etc.) are for personal use only and its content and products are not to be resold or redistributed without credit or written permission.

BJD is a "ball jointed doll", specifically made of resin when spoken about in this shop.

A mock-up is like a digital face-up. The artist works digitally through Photoshop on a photo of a doll (preferably with a blank face) to figure out the best direction to take in the design of a doll and it’s “character”.

A face-up is the application of aesthetic detail to the face/head of a ball jointed doll (BJD) using high-quality artist paints, pastels, and mediums. In this instance, it will only be referring to resin doll heads only. I do not offer modifications such as carving, sculpting, any body work or color-matching.
