This is my favourite order to date! I love the delicate colours of this ultra-girly blanket and the wave patterns fits it to a tee.

About

Warming the World, One Blanket at a Time

I enjoy constantly learning things, and I love to try out new crafts. I always considered myself a jack of all trades, master of none. But, as I have worked and learned over the years crochet has begun to stand out. Though I am not a master yet, I believe I have the love and the drive to become one.

I have been making crochet blankets and accessories for a few years now and am so excited to be sharing my work. The response I have received from the handmade community and those who value handcrafted work has been amazing.
All of my items are handcrafted by myself, with the utmost care and dedication to the final product and the process of making them. I enjoy using vintage and retro patterns but, give them a facelift by using modern and vibrant colors. I want my blankets to be loved by adults and children alike.

I have rigorously sourced the best possible yarns for my blankets and other items. I use cotton, wool and acrylic yarn to make sure there is an option for everyone. All the yarn I use can be washed and tumble dried with ease.
When testing yarns I ensure three main components; (1) the blanket must stand up to baby and toddler love and last for years to come, (2) it must be washable and easy care for busy parents and owners alike, (3) it must be super soft and look amazing even after hundreds of washes, my items are made to stand the test of time. I have a sample block of each of the yarns I use and they get thrown in the wash with every load of laundry, they have been pinned to my jeans for weeks at a time to see how they handle the stress and given to children and babies to play with. All of this to ensure that the yarn I use will stand up to daily use.

I offer ready-made, made to order and custom orders as well. I have a love for Granny squares and my pop of color series of blankets is my most popular line but, I am always creating new patterns and color ways.

I have only a limited space for custom orders per month, if you are interested and want to create a one of a kind piece please send me a message and we can begin the creative process.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I love custom orders, if you do not see a listing that is because this month is booked. Please contact me and I will let you know when I would be able to slot you in for.

Sizing details

I work mainly with baby and children size blankets but, I do work on throws as well.

Care instructions

All of my material is made for the busy parent and messy child in mind.
All items are machine wash (I suggest cold water) and tumble dry or lay flat to dry.
I don't suggest ever hanging went crochet or knit items, as they have a tendency to stretch out of shape.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I package all of my items it Kraft paper tied in twine, I love the vintage look and feel to this. It's also better for the environment as I use 100% recycled paper.

Shipping Pricing

I will refund any shipping overage greater than $1.00
