I love the concept of thi pattern and though initially I had a hard time understanding the concept of how to construct the leaves, once my knitting guru explained it to me the concept became clear, To be fair, the pattern is well written with clear instructions and photos, I am just dealing with brain damage from 2 strokes and a brain bleed which make even clearly written patterns a challenge. This pattern is a keeper that I intend to knit up in malabrigo rasta natural and diana as I don't have any rasta piedras in my stash. Additionally I think the autumnal colors in rasta diana are especially apropos for this bowl that celebrates deciduous trees/leaves.
