melsieglass' Shop Policies
My goal is for others to enjoy & admire my glass works as much as I love & delight in making them. I do my best to take photos that accurately reflect the finished piece. If you receive your purchase and it isn't all that you expected, please get in touch via Etsy conversations or email (email@example.com) to come up with an agreeable fix.
I happily accept payment online by credit card or PayPal.
At live craft shows, I accept cash or credit cards. I do not accept personal checks.
LOCAL TO THE NC TRIANGLE? Save Yourself the Shipping!
For orders of $30 or more, I am happy to have locals pick up these pieces and avoid the extra packaging & shipping costs. Just contact me via conversations, or on email at melanie [!at] melsieglass.com. I will send you a coupon code to use at checkout, and then we can arrange a time & place to exchange your order.
I'm happy to ship internationally if requested. Due to the shipping constraints of glass, I don't have a generalized shipping rate. If you contact me via conversations or email, I will happily find out the appropriate postage & handling fee to ship to your country. I do not upcharge for this - I will simply charge you my actual costs.
GENERAL SHIPPING INFO:
Smaller orders are shipped via USPS. Large, multi-piece, or extra fragile orders are usually packaged and shipped by UPS and insured against breakage for the cost of remaking & replacing your order. ** I have never had anything break during shipping, however should this happen to you ~ please save all packaging & the broken pieces, and contact me via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) within two business days. If you follow these guidelines, I will happily recreate your order once the insurance claim is complete. **
Refunds and Exchanges
My goal is for others to enjoy & admire my glass works as much as I love & delight in making them. I do my best to take photos that accurately reflect the finished piece. As with anything made of glass, my glass art should be handled with care. I take every precaution to appropriately package and ship your purchase, including insurance on the shipment. If your purchase arrives broken or otherwise damaged, please contact me immediately - I insure most shipments, particularly those of larger pieces. See Shipping Policy section.
