This dulcimer is so beautiful and has such a clear sound. Compared to my full size walnut Mcspadden, this is only slightly higher in tone, and has great vibration. I am amazed at the quality, especially considering the small size. Wonderful condition and craftsmanship. Mr Hanson was friendly and shipped very quickly.i ordered late Thursday night and he had shipped it by noon the next day. The pick house and pick were also very appreciated.

I LOVE MY NEW DULCIMER! ..... and so glad I got the smaller size. It's very well made and the obvious craftsmanship shines through. Sounds great too. Arrived well-tuned and a pick was included in the attached pick house, which was very thoughtful. The shipping was fast and packing very thorough. Just open 1 end and put on a lawn/leaf bag to capture the Styrofoam and empty her out. VERY HAPPY DULCIMER CAMPER!

Wow! After looking for more than a year in local music shops and online I finally decided on Mel Hanson's dulcimer and I'm glad I did. Beautiful dulcimer! It is as described. It arrived promptly and in great shape. It was well packed! I love the way it sounds. It is so easy to play. It has a shorter string length. I don’t have to stretch my fingers as much.
