My hoops are a collage of embroidery on vintage handkerchiefs and doilies with trims and charms. All are unique and one of a kind. My necklaces spotlight a single flower and make great gifts. "Mementos of the Journey" are Vintage inspired postcards created from my own photos. I love finding "timeless" images that I can photograph and transform into art that looks as if it could be 100 years old. I use Photoshop along with distressing techniques done by hand to create my art-postcards. Postcards are framed or come with an easel.
"Kindred Hearts" are hanging hearts with wings that I create out of vintage doilies, handkerchiefs, napkins, lace and other vintage trinkets. Each Kindred Heart is one of a kind. They look wonderful hanging on a wall, from a bedpost or drawer knob.
"Family Collage" are mixed media collages featuring my ancestral family members circa 1915. I am blessed to have photos of my grandparents as children, along with some of their cousins, that I have scanned and incorporated into whimsical art, complete with authentic commentary from how I remember them in their later years. Fun yet generic enough to hang in a child's room, family room or any room.
"Quote Collage" begins with my original photo that I antique in photoshop. I combine my photos with mixed media collage which includes vintage jewelry, buttons, doilies and add the perfect quote! They make a great handmade gift!
