About

Everyone needs more wool cuteness!

It all started from a near meltdown.

In 2009 I was finishing up my last year of design school, and it was stressful. Projects, team meetings, teachers: my head was about to explode. In the midst of all that chaos, I decided to take up a new hobby. Knitting.

My first scarf was terrible. It was full of holes and dropped stitches, but I proudly displayed it and even got a few compliments from people who didn't look at it too closely.

From then on I was 'hooked' and I never looked back. For the next few years I happily knitted up several scarves, socks and mittens, until I fell in love with amigurumis. There wasn't a lot of patterns available to knit amigurumis, so I set out to learn to crochet.

A few months later I was making my own amigurumi patterns, and here we are today, with Mengy!
