Thanks so much Kirsty. Absolutely LOVE it... it's real pretty and oozes of beautiful craftmanship. And what a brilliant gift, apart from the fact that I couldn't possibly part with it :-))
Stitching, doodling, making
Hello and many thanks for dropping by! I am a designer maker from the South of England, currently living and working on the Kent coast, in the busy port of Dover (gateway to the United Kingdom!). I am inspired by nature – its flora and fauna, doodles, patterns and texture and like to include these elements in my work. I am constantly trying to reuse and recycle materials and items as well.
I graduated with a HND in Design Crafts with a specialism in Embroidery and a BA Hons degree in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design.
I have previously worked under the label ‘me plus molly’ – under this label I have been featured in Josephine Perry’s book ‘The Sewists‘ (I was one of the 20 designer makers included in her book) and have also had some pages from my visual journaling included in Dawn DeVries Sokol’s book ‘A World of Artist Journal Pages: 1000+ Artworks – 230 Artists – 30 Countries‘.
I am also on Instagram - @throughthehedge

Due to the range of remnants/materials used in the construction of the textile items, as well as their embellishments, I am unable to advise a cleaning method. Please be aware therefore that any cleaning attempts will be at your own risk.
To get the best out of your purchase and to ensure longevity, look after it well.
