This Privacy Policy describes how, when and why I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com or its related sites and services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control such as shipping companies and Etsy or any third party services you access through Etsy (like the payment options). You can reference the Etsy Privacy Policy to learn more about its privacy practices.
I, Margreet van Dam, am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop Merckwaerdigh on Etsy.

To fulfil your order, I will need certain information (which you authorized Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address and the details of the product that you’re ordering. For a Digital File purchase, I receive your user name and email address only. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order.

The only circumstances in which I would share your data are when needed to process and ship your order or if required to by law. I will never use or pass on your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Etsy to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• With my bookkeeper to comply with legal or tax obligations.

I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction, your data will only remain on Etsy’s secure site and on your invoice in my bookkeeping as long as I am required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations. I keep no other records.

You have the right to know what personal data I or Etsy hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.
By using Etsy Payments, your personal data is protected by Etsy's Privacy Policy.
