A beautiful statement neck piece in its natural habitat...kidding! My Water Faerie statement neckpiece piece for sale now in my shop! Photographed at the most sacred Faerie Glen in England and blessed by the faeries!!
It was such an honor to be asked by Conceptual Magazine to create the headpieces for their winter edition cover! This is the "White Fairy" metal base crown! Along with the cover is an entire spread! And you can own these pieces now! Enjoy!
From the cover of Conceptual Magazine are my Blue Fairy and my White Fairy woodland crowns! Both crowns are actually metal crowns adorned with all the pretties! Have your new crown immortalized in a magazine!!

My love of the Fantasy world!

My name is Judy, and I am owner/designer, and creator of Mermaid Sanctuary (Designs). I began my shop on store envy almost a year ago and now decided to expand to Etsy!
I began my journey with mermaids, when as a child, my parents took us to the ocean every year. I would see these mystical beings everywhere, and fell in love! As an adult, after losing my husband to cancer, I decided to open a Facebook group and named it "The Mermaid Sanctuary", and my world changed! Having a contest for the group, I decided the winning prize would be a "mermaid crown", made by me! I never made anything of this nature before, but when the winner posted pictures of her prize, the messages poured in, asking me to please make them one too! It was then, I decided to open a shop. I had found my niche! I have done quite well, thank goodness, and have even been featured in some magazines and have been invited to make headdresses for a couple fashion shows.
So I found out, when one door closes, another DOES open! I work hard, very hard, at my craft. I use quality items in my designs and everything is done myself, hence the 2-3 week waiting period for items that are custom or items in my shop that have sold and I have to restock. No two designs will be the same, and that's the magic! I also decided to branch out into the world of faeries as well, as many of my friends are fae, and I love the diversity in what I can use, such as lights!
So, my friends, if it's quality over quantity, something "out of the box", and a real love of the work and the people who buy from me, you've come to the right place!

Returns and exchange details
Please, be sure that the piece you order, is the piece for you! Since these designs are handmade, no refunds will be allowed. Be sure you read the description of your item and ask lots of questions before purchasing! Each piece is painstakingly made by me and me alone. Many are only made when ordered. So please, read the descriptions, my policies and ask questions if you have any. Damage in shipping is not the responsibility of this shop as well as when USPS or your postal service delivers. This shop's responsibility is to make quality designs, to ship according to the description and to follow instructions in the message box, if any. Thank you everyone!

Custom orders are not refundable.

IF a refund or replacement piece has been approved by me, under special circumstances, the item MUST receive return tracking within 48 hours (unless otherwise agreed) after receiving it. Return shipping is to be paid by the customer in all cases!!. Under NO circumstances, will items be accepted back for refund or replacement after 30 days of receiving it! NO reason, so please do not ask!!!

If, for some reason, your package has not been deivered after 2 weeks for USA shipping, please notify me ASAP! If I am NOT notified within those time frames I may no longer have your tracking number. PLEASE, save your message you received from Etsy in your email when your item was shipped! If the item cannot be tracked, and I was not notified in the specified times written above, my hands will be tied! There will be nothing I can do and I will not be held responsible. Time is of the essence!
I am also not responsible for stolen packages or any mistake by USPS or any other postal service provider. So please keep checking tracking to see when your package is due to arrive and have arrangements made to be there to recieve it.

Payment accepted through credit cards, debit cards, Etsy gift cards, and PayPal. Orders will be processed once payment has been cleared.

Refunds are only made to the account the payment was received from.

I AM SHIPPING FROM CONNECTICUT, USA

SHIPPING METHOD: All items are safely packed in an envelope or box and shipped via U.S. Postal Service First Class mail. Etsy will send an email with the tracking number to your email address when your item has been shipped.

SHIPPING TIME: Ready-to-ship items are mailed within 7 business days after purchase. Made-to-order items are mailed up to 3 weeks after ordering. Delivery within the U.S. usually takes 2-6 days but I have no way to guarantee a delivery date. Delivery time outside the U.S. will vary. Custom orders are handled separately and may take longer. Expedited shipping is not offered at this time. Please contact me if you have an urgent need. I DO NOT offer tracking for international shipping!! If you live in Australia, PLEASE message me for shipping prices or be prepared to pay more than QUOTED. Shipping prices are JUST QUOTES! Australia has the highest shipping rates I have seen to this date!

ADDRESS: I will always ship only to your Etsy or Paypal address on file. If you have moved since ordering, please be sure you have contacted your local post office for a "change of address"!! PLEASE, do NOT put a different address in the "note" section at checkout! There is NO guarantee I will remember it! It is YOUR responsibility to have your address properly changed at your post office or the post office in the city, and or state you are moving to. If an item is returned due to an incorrect address, I will request that the buyer pay for shipping it again.

MY SHIPPING RESPONSIBILITY: I ship MOST items via USPS First Class with a tracking number. I cannot guarantee that the USPS or another postal service will deliver the item within THEIR stated time frame. All orders marked as DELIVERED by the USPS tracking information that are then lost or stolen are not refundable. Please ensure your delivery location can securely accept your package. I do NOT offer tracking on INTERNATIONAL packages. It is too costly and most complain about shipping prices as is. I don't make the shipping prices, the government does. If your package does NOT arrive and I agree to send another, that will be the LAST time the item will be replaced! Be sure your packages are not stolen!!

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:

International buyers outside the U.S. are responsible for any and all Customs Charges, Taxes, & Additional Postal Fees that may be imposed by their country's government on imported goods.

For shipments outside the U.S., I have listed each item with its own shipping fee. If postage ends up being more than 5.00 over the price given, you are responsible to pay that overage before your item will ship. I will notify you of this ASAP with proof if necessary. If you do not agree to pay the overage, your package will not ship and you will lose your payment! I cannot keep paying overages, this shop pays bills for my family. Shipping fees are only ESTIMATES, especially for international shipping! I wish shipping charges were not so expensive, but it is what it is, and cannot be helped, I hope you all understand. AGAIN, I do not pay for tracking on international shipping!

Designs that need to be made:

IF I do not, or can not, get a certain supply for your piece, ie a certain color rhinestone or trim, etc the customer will be notified via Etsy AND email about using a substitute. If I do not hear back from you within 1 week, I as the artist, have the right to substitute according to my discretion. I cannot wait and hope you checked your email or Etsy messages as this will make your piece not arrive in time. If you do not give a date you need the piece by, I have the right to change the shipping date according to how long it's taking to finish the piece. PLEASE, do not message me after 5 days after purchase with a date. Any special occasion dates MUST be given to me in the "message box" at checkout, PLEASE, this is VERY important! If you send it via message I may not remember as I get many orders and go by order of purchase dates.


Last, but not least, if you have ANY questions, PLEASE MESSAGE ME! Don't take anything for granted! ASK. I am very easy to talk to and will do what I can to accommodate you, but you MUST ask. :)

CUSTOM ORDER POLICY

Unfortunately , custom orders are neither returnable or refundable.
These orders are made to the specifications of the buyer and would not be able to be put back in my shop. Please BE SURE, you are VERY specific in what you want in a custom order!! I will work with you in every way I can to solve any problems, but I cannot accept any returns or refund any money.
Please be sure when saying you give me (the designer) "artistic freedom", that you understand what it means. Artistic freedom is you, the buyer, giving me, the designer, freedom to make the piece as I see fit. I will take your recommendations of course, but the rest is up to me. IF requested, I will send a photo of the finished piece before shipping. Then, you can ask for something to be removed ONLY if it is removable, ie, screwed in or glued on with a high contact glue, or, for something to be added, which may result in a change of price.
PLEASE, be aware of these policies BEFORE placing a custom order!

Do you ship anywhere?

I try, lol. If you order and I cannot ship to you or if shipping prices will be higher, I will notify you.

Do you accept returns?

No, sorry. Please be sure that what you order is exactly what you want! Be sure to read the description!

What if something arrives damaged?

Unfortunately I can not be responsible for damages caused during the shipping process. I make sure your item is wrapped as securely as possible, that's the best I can do.

What if my package never arrives?

Please check your tracking number or call your post office. If overseas shipping, there is nothing I can do. Please check with customs.

What if my package has custom fees?

The buyer is liable for all custom fees and taxes that might apply.

What if my item looks different than the photo?

Again, please read the description! Is this a remake? Or an original? If an original it will be exact. If a remake, it may have some differences. No two items,are identical!

Who makes these items? Do you have a staff?

No. Everything is designed and created by me and me only. I am a one woman show lol so please be patient.

Where are you located? Do you have a physical store?

Not at this time. I only work online but who knows what may happen in the future!

Do you give discounts?

I do run coupon codes from time to time, so stay in touch. If there is something you just can't live without, message me. I can't promise anything, or give huge discounts as these items cost me money to make, and that doesn't include my time, but I'm willing to see if there is something we can do to make your dream a reality! :)

Do you sell in bulk?

I am a one woman show, so bulk is difficult. If you would would like multiples, please message me and we can discuss it 😊
