This is a beautiful little card - I was even happier when I received it than when I ordered. :) And the seller is very nice, and helpful with questions. A+++

Art is Life

I initially started my Etsy shop just for the fun of it to sell originally-designed and printed greeting cards. It has grown into much more than that, and is still evolving. I've now branched out into offering my original drawings, paintings and photographic images for sale too.

I have multiple notebooks on hand and in bags to job down doodles, drawings and ideas as they take flight. I couldn't do without my trusty smart phone either. With a major in printmaking in my background, cards, prints and small artworks are an ideal, affordable way to share my artistic vision with a wide range of people.

I love being able to manipulate images digitally, so I use Photoshop a lot. I print archival digital reproductions of my work on an Epson R3880 Stylus Pro which uses ‘K3′ Ultra Chrome vivid, inkjet technology (‘Giclee’). Knowing that people can frame my cards after their initial use is over is my contribution to sustainability and saving the planet’s resources.

For those with allergies - my cards and artworks are produced in a smoke and pet-free environment.

Hi Everyone. I live in inner Melbourne where there are lots of great cafes and interesting things to do that can distract you if you let them! Most of the time though you will find me happily creating in my studio.

Hi Everyone.

Welcome to my shop, previously called Meerkat Art. My cards and art prints are made with the finest archival quality printing inks and cotton rag* photographic paper. These are called 'giclee' prints. Museums and galleries reproduce art work using the giclee process.

Lasting quality is as important for sustainability as recycling, (though of course my cards are suitable for recycling if that's what you want to do). Thus my slogan 'cards for keeps : art to frame' was born. First life as a card, second life as an art print. My cotton cards should last a lifetime if framed under glass away from sunlight.

I generally use Aquarelle Arches for my watercolour, ink and gouache paintings. Aquarelle is also archival cotton rag and will last as per my cards and prints if framed under glass.

* Recycled cotton rag - another plus, instead of cellulose fibre from trees.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
Payment via PayPal. When you purchase via the Etsy shopping cart, you will be taken to PayPal to finalise your purchase. It is quick and easy!

Credit card details also accepted through PayPal. TO PAY WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD: Please choose 'Paypal' as your payment method. You will be taken to the Paypal web site but you DO NOT need to sign up for a Paypal account.

See 'Additional Information' below for wholesale payment.
Items are shipped with envelopes for cards and in cello peel and seal sleeves for each item.

Depending on the size and type of item ordered, tough bags/envelopes will be used to keep items from bending during shipment. (Single or just a few cards will be sent in a standard-weight envelope.) Multiple cards will also be packed in another cello or plastic bag to keep them from moving.

Your order will be shipped within 1-2 business days with Australia Post. For non-standard envelope packaging (i.e., larger orders), a tracking number can be obtained. This will cost extra. Please convo me before purchase if you would like this feature and I will notify you how much extra this will cost. (It can be quite high, between $20 and $30 for overseas buyers.)

For multiple item orders, I will refund the difference through PayPal if shippng price through Australia Post plus cost of packaging comes to less than the amount tallied on Etsy for shipping.

Overseas customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.

I would greatly appreciate to hear via convo/feedback when your item safely arrives. Thank you!
Refunds and Exchanges
Please email me via convo or email if you think there is a defect or damage that was not detected in any of the items before shipping, or if your item by some remote chance goes astray. A refund on any issues based around these unforeseen problems will happily be considered.
Additional policies and FAQs
Due to the custom nature of printing, colours may sometimes differ, though variations will only ever be minor. Your computer monitor may be colour-cailbrated differently, so the physical item you select may not match exactly what you see on your monitor. Hopefully it will though! Please be aware of this when purchasing.

For wholesale customers (those with a retail store), payment can be either by PayPal or, if preferred through bank transfer for Australian customers, prior to shipping. Please convo or email me when requesting wholesale orders and I will supply you with the details. I can create special reserved listings for wholesale customers with an agreed priced before purchase. For Australian clients, please supply your ABN before processing.
