About MessyEverAfter

Sales 17
On Etsy since 2013

Hello, my name is Kelly and I am a creator of many things. I began as a 2D artist and eventually found my way into the wonderful world of jewelry making. I discovered I can make my art wearable and be a little less starved as an artist. Pretty cool, right?

I spend most days dreaming of new things to make. Everything from new art to home improvement projects. If it involves creativity, I'm probably going to enjoy it. Like the 'I forget what day it is', 'when was the last time I showered?', 'omg, this is going to be awesome,' type of enjoyment.

I started a journey in late 2016 to become a full-time artist, crafter, and creative nerd. Why not jump in and do what you love all the time? As I write this, my hair is in a messy bun, my arms and legs somehow got covered in blue paint splatters, and I've got a 5 page to-do list that fills me with a sense of purpose.

My ultimate goal is to share what I make with those around me (and then of course earn enough money to feed myself). In this shop, you will find the colorful, tedious, and sometimes whimsical creations of mine.

I like to use non-traditional materials in my jewelry like canvas, card stock, rice paper, alcohol inks, acrylic paint, and even cardboard. I craft my work to be lightweight, delicate, yet durable. Each piece of art that I incorporate into my jewelry is unique and hand made by yours truly.

If my work speaks to you at all, I hope you give it a happy new home!
