Welcome jewellery lovers. I’m a contemporary jeweller I work out of my home workshop in Leigh-on-Sea. I would describe my jewellery as an emporium of treasures.
My designs are often quirky, humorous, feature handmade qualities and marks; they are not perfect but are as individual as you are. I take time and care in making each design and my designs often feature details that you do not find in a mass produced product.
My earring collections are made in a sustainable waste limiting way by using all the silver scraps and bits of silver wire leftover from other projects and collections. I incorporate them into an ever changing collection. I also use eco silver recycled silver which I purchase and this is traceable from it’s source.

About MetalLustJewellery
I’m passionate about contemporary jewellery as a maker, collector and wearer; it’s an inherent part of my identity.
My jewellery explores the value we hold over objects in a playful way. Small keepsakes and treasures; we may have collected them in our childhood. The throwaway items of plastic we keep stashed in an ashtray or junk drawer. The useful everyday objects that serve us well with their function.
I mainly work in sterling silver and I carry this theme of identity into my designs. Much of my inspiration comes from everyday objects; transforming them into stand out wearable pieces.

I have been a jeweller since 2006 after graduating from UAL Camberwell Collage of Arts London Metalwork & silversmithing BA. I don’t come from a traditional jewellery background and I sought out my identity as a maker after graduating. I was interested in the play on words and our beliefs around jewellery as objects and objects as jewellery.
I worked for successful and established jeweller Lisa Castle for many years, and also for a well known jewellery trade counter in Hatton Garden. I also freelanced for other designers including Milliner Janie Lawson and sculptor Judy Wiseman.
Throughout this time I have always made jewellery and have a vast experience of personalized commissions too. Please see Facebook/metallust.
