Announcement   WELCOME and thanks for visiting METTA METALWORKS- MMW for short.

Metta is the Buddhist term for Loving Kindness- MMW is the place to shop for your modern day amulet. A little reminder- to be happy, calm, generous- whatever your antidote is to modern life.

Everything you see here is made by hand in Brooklyn.

If it is posted on the site- it is in stock and will ship within 3 days. All my items come in a beautiful fabric pouch- made by Monks in Tibet (the only thing not made by me on the site)

2% of my profits go to 2 different Buddhist monasteries- Saranaloka and Wat Metta Monastery. Ajahn Metta and Thanissaro Bhikkhu, two of my teachers reside there when not traveling the world spreading the dharma- both are located in California.

Please specify which colors/words you want in the message to the seller box when you buy it.

A note to stylists: In addition to lending pieces out for shoots- I have MMW Archive- a collection of vintage and costume pieces. I also do on site styling and manipulation of jewelry.

Check out my blog for recent shots-

This ring is breathtaking. I'm so glad I purchased it to match my arrow necklace (also from MMW). It's expertly crafted and a powerful symbol. I love seeing that arrow on my finger. Like it's pointing me in the direction I'm supposed to go. Thank you, Kathy, for your kindness throughout our correspondence. I'm so happy to own two treasures from you now. The ring fits like a dream.

Such a beautifully crafted necklace. Every detail is exquisite. Kathy was kind and helpful throughout our conversations, and I couldn't be happier to own a piece of her jewelry. The pendant is substantial without feeling weighty--it has a nice feel to it. Definitely heirloom quality. I'll be back again, I'm sure! <3
