Announcement   All MH pewter jewelry sold here begins as my own original lost wax castings or etch plates, from which pewter casting molds are produced. This allows the detail and texture of the original pieces to be retained in each reproduction. After casting, every piece is hand finished to enhance the luster of the metal and create contrast.

Beautiful necklace, received very quickly -- in spite of the fact that I asked for a different color than was in the listing. Very, very happy wiht this!

I employ the lost wax casting process to produce most of my work. This means that my pieces are truly made from scratch, beginning with an idea, and ending in finished jewelry. For example, if I want to make a pendant that looks like a turtle, I carve the turtle by hand from a piece of wax and cast it in metal, as opposed to shopping the internet for a turtle pendant to hang on a strand of beads. This insistence on controlling every aspect of the design and manufacturing process results in complete realization of my vision, and produces pieces that are truly unique works of art to be treasured and enjoyed.
