Welcome to my shop! My quilts are one of a kind heirlooms made by me from start to finish in my pet-free and smoke-free home studio.
All my quilts are made with the finest cotton fabric and I use “Warm & Natural” cotton batting which does not contain resins or glues. This batting will not separate or bunch up.
Once I have finished a quilt top, and I have selected the perfect backing fabric, it’s time for the final quilting. I do the overall quilting on my long arm quilt machine. I select from a variety of stitching patterns that best compliments the quilt fabric and style.
I finish my quilts with a handmade binding that is double-folded, machine stitched, and then hand stitched to finish.
My quilts are not pre-washed. They can be machine washed in cold water and machine or line dried. After the first wash the quilt will have a beautifully soft puckered look - ready to cuddle up and will last a lifetime!

I welcome custom orders.
Have a great day!

5 out of 5 starsThe quilt is very well made, clearly the work of a pro. Both sides are attractive. Right now I’m using the orange side as a couch throw for autumn and I’ll use the pink and orange for spring. Shipping was super speedy. I hope I find other treasures in this shop.

5 out of 5 starsMichele was able to repair a quilt my great grandmother made for my dad. This quilt had been chewed on by a puppy. It looks amazing! She also had great service. She was great at communicating and her attention to detail. She noticed the stitching coming out as well and offered to repair that. It was also very reasonably priced.

Sew many quilts need a home
I have quilted for many years creating gifts for family and friends as well as donating to a variety of charities. I am in my studio everyday creating new quilts so I decided it was time to share what I love and join the Etsy community.
I create all my quilts in my smoke-free and pet-free home studio. The creative process of quilting has many steps and I enjoy every one of them. I especially enjoy shopping for the fabric. I love to visit quilt shops everywhere I go so I have accumulated quite a large stash. Fabric is my first source of inspiration. When I start a new quilt I have a great deal of fun searching through my stash of fabrics to find that perfect combination. My next step is to choose a design. Then the cutting begins. Before I start sewing I hang the fabric pieces on my design wall to decide how I would like the quilt to look. Once I have the design set the sewing begins. When the quilt top is completed I select a pattern for the overall stiching which I do on my long arm quilt machine. With the top stitching is done the quilt is ready for binding which is done on machine and finished by hand.
A quilt takes many hands on hours to make. During the process I develop a special bond with each one. It is a comfort to know that when each one arrives in their new home another special bond is created.
