My Story

Hello! Welcome to my shop. Every piece is drawn, painted or printed by me. I feel so fortunate to be able to share myself, and my work, here and I hope you enjoy it.

I graduated with a degree in art from Portland State University in 2005. Honestly, I wasn't really sure what I was going to do with my life after college. I worked in a grocery store to pay my bills, but what I really wanted was to work for myself making art.

A friend of mine introduced me to Etsy in 2007. I listed a few things with fingers crossed and lots of hope. It took several months for me to make a sale, and to consistently make sales. After about a year, my shop really started to take off and I couldn't have been happier.

Since then I had to return to my grocery store job, part time to help supplement my income. I still dreamed of working for myself, making art. This dream came a reality once again in 2014. Along with Etsy Wholesale, I've been able to leave my grocery store job and be my own boss once again.

I couldn't begin to do this without all the amazing buyers that have helped support and encourage me over the years. I truly wouldn't be able to live my dream without them and without you.

Payment
I love Paypal and direct checkout payments with credit card. I feel like both are safe, secure, methods of payment. I ship all my orders out within 1-3 business days.

I understand that not everyone feels comfortable with that. I do accept checks, but do prefer money orders.

If you do choose to pay with a check, or money order, please note, I will not send out the item until payment is received. With checks, they must also clear before I send out your item.

There is a way to pay via check using Paypal. In this case, I will wait until the check via Paypal clears before sending out your order.
Shipping
all of my prints, illustrations, and works on paper come packaged in a protective plastic sleeve with an archival backing. They are mailed to you in a non-bendable mailer. I use first class United States Post when shipping out all prints.

All of my paintings come wrapped in wax paper, then bubble wrap, and secured with packing tape. I ship all of my paintings in a box with in wax paper and bubble wrap. The wax paper first, then bubble wrap around it. My paintings are all shipped priority USPS within the US. I also make sure to get delivery confirmation and insurance with all painting purchases.

If you are an international buyer, I ship all of my paintings First Class USPS, unless you would like an upgrade to Priority. Then shipping payment must be arranged. Unfortunately there is no way to get tracking for international packages unless it is shipped Priority and with insurance, and this can become a bit costly.

I usually ship within 1-3 business days. If you need it shipped sooner please let me know. Also, if you would like insurance, please let me know. Any orders over $100.00 come automatically with insurance.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any shipping questions!
