Periwinkle spiral cobalt grid aqua wave magenta circle blue line - along with threads, buttons, beads, sequins, found objects, paint, glitter... these are what I use to create. My art is abstract, fanciful, and slightly crazy. Dangling threads - they make shadows. Uneven or raw edges - no time for conformity here. Landscapes and portraits are my visions, and will definitely not resemble the real thing. I'm not perfect, my art is not perfect, but it is sincere.
I'm an eclectic artist, and make art quilts, dolls, jewelry, journal covers, painted and embellished purses, hand dyed and embellished clothing, collages, seasonal decorations, cards, and lots of other stuff. I'm also a writer, and will sometimes have self-published collections of my poems or essays. Custom orders are also welcome.
As a firm believer in recycling, I create upcyled purses and clothing, and reuse clothing, fabric, found objects, and buttons. It's fun to put together things from different times and places.
As many artists do, I gather stuff. So I often have extra and sell it here in the supplies category. This may include fabric, yarn, buttons, beads, and other things. I also provide vintage books and paper ephemera, especially for junk journals and collage
