Once upon a time a girl learned to knit, bought a spindle, and found a local farm for wool........

My story began the day I learned to knit. A year later I was teaching myself to spin, and within another year I started dyeing my own fiber.

When something is born of love it can't help but grow. I am constantly learning new things and trying new techniques in my spinning, knitting, and dyeing. I love knitting with handspun, and I love spinning my own hand dyed creations.

I hope you enjoy taking this creative journey with me. I love to hear from my customers, many of whom I consider my friends. I can be found on Facebook, Ravelry, Flickr, Instagram, and Twitter as MichiganSpinning or MIspinning.

    I fell in love with fiber in 2007 when my Aunt Mary taught me how to knit and introduced me to the "good yarns". A year later I taught myself to spin and thus began my love for natural fibers. Dyeing was an obvious next step. I love every fibery day!

Immediate payment is expected at time of purchase. If payment is not received within 24 hours and you have not contacted us to arrange for an alternate payment method, the order will be cancelled.
Items ship within 3 - 5 business days ( not including weekends ) after ordering. Shipping time for Custom Orders will vary based on quantity ordered/creation time/ finishing time. Convo me for approximate shipping date prior to placing your order.

Unless otherwise stated, I ship all packages via USPS First Class Mail. Items over 13oz total packaged weight will ship via USPS Priority Mail in the USA. International orders will always ship via USPS First Class Mail. Please be sure to order well in advance if you need something by a specific date as International Shipping times may vary once your package has left the USA.

I do not automatically insure packages or include tracking information as I have rarely, if ever, lost a package in the mail. If you would like to attach tracking or insurance to your package the charge is minimal, simply state the request in the message to seller section when placing your order and I will include tracking and/or insurance at no extra charge. (This applies to USA orders only!)
Refunds and Exchanges
No Refunds or Exchanges on Custom Orders. Please note that colors vary by monitor, so if you are uncertain as to the accuracy of your monitor's color display, please request a sample of the fiber or yarn item prior to purchase. Samples are sent free of charge via USPS First Class Mail.

Customer Satisfaction is very important to me. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact me prior to leaving any negative feedback so that I might have the opportunity to rectify the situation. I will either replace the original item with the same product if available, or a comparable product of the customers choosing if similar items are no longer in stock. You will not be required to return the original item, nor will you be required to pay an additional shipping charges for the replacement. ** Please note that any purposeful abuse of this policy will result in future order refusals and possible action thru Etsy sanctioned channels.** An example of abuse would be the same customer or group repeatedly claiming dissatisfaction, damage, or unhappiness with their purchase to receive free replacement items and their repeated purchases form a pattern of conduct that could be construed as fraud.

It is my desire to ensure each and every customer enjoys not only their visits to my shop, but the items they purchase from me. Please keep in mind that items offered in my shop are handmade and each one, even if created in batches, such as hand dyed yarns and fibers, may have slight color variances within each batch. I do my best to represent my products as accurately as possible. I use an HD camera for all my photos and take my pictures in natural light.
