Shipped and delivered quickly! Great pricing too, this same item was almost twice the price elsewhere. I'm very happy with this purchase!
Finding Etsy was truly a Godsend!
I'll give you a little background on why I started my shop.
I'm from the Houston area and moved to Atlanta 20 years ago with my then 5 year old daughter. I'll spare the details, but I didn't want to move AT ALL. But life will throw you a curveball sometimes. The 2 of us left family and friends with a packed up Toyota, put everything else in storage and headed east to a city that we had never even visited
Atlanta was good to us. My daughter thrived, I found friends and a great job, but somehow it never felt like home.
When I found out about Etsy, I thought it would be perfect for me- and it has been. It's fun to go on treasure hunts for something special! Finding, photographing and researching items- took tons of time. And I had tons of time to spare. It was truly a Godsend.
There is nothing I love more than to find something that just screams 60s-70s. I always check it out thoroughly for damage before coming home to research it. There is really no rhyme or reason for what I choose- I know it when I see it. There's a little of everything.
I'm usually drawn to ceramics that were done by an individual. However, I found out that I'm in the minority on that. While I'm trying to break my ceramic addiction, I must admit I still have work to do.
My love for the 70s extends to my house. It was built in 1975. When I saw it for the first time I was amazed that it was virtually unchanged from the day it was built- it had never had a dishwasher in it and it still had the harvest gold counter tops! I've updated it somewhat- it has a dishwasher now, and new vanities in the bath and ceramic tile, etc., but I LOVE those counter tops so I kept them.
I'm moving back to Houston in December and I can't wait! I'm going to be in the same neighborhood as my daughter- a dream come true! My life is circling back to Texas. They say you may leave Texas, but you always come back. I guess "they" are right.

Owner, Treasure Hunters
Many of my childhood memories stem from loading up the Chrysler Newport with finds from all over east Texas. My Mom would take me to garage sales, resale shops and the like almost weekly. I didn't like it at first, but by the time i was 15 or so, I started to get the fever. The vintage fever. My brother has it too. But he was raised by my Dad in Louisiana- it must be genetic. He lives in Houston now. I live in Atlanta. He calls me every couple of weeks and usually mentions his latest find. I sometimes one up him with mine.
