Being able to include a photo of my boy was what meant the most but also the engraving on the lid really added to the appeal of using Midwest Oaks. Reasonable price for a memorable piece. 5 out of 5 starsThe finished product was beautiful and the engraving was exactly as requested. I selected the smallest size and it was an ideal fit for the ashes of my 22-pound Pekingese and one of her beloved hippo toys. Both the ashes and the photo were easy to install. Highly recommend!

Printing/Editing Pictures for Urns: I need to get a photo edited for my urn, what do I do?
While we do not print photos, we do edit them free of charge for all urns in our store. All you have to do is send us a message through Etsy with your photo. Once we have received it, we will edit the picture in a 4" x 6" format and send it back to you. We will send it to the email that you used at checkout.
If, for some reason, you haven't received your edited photo, please send us a message on Etsy so we can assist you with your request.
We can edit a maximum of three photos.

Help! I can't find my edited photo.

Urn Sizes: Can I fit a memorial or keepsake in my urn?
Finding the right size urn for your loved one or pet can be difficult. First, we can't guarantee that one size will be large enough. Generally, most of our urns are not designed to hold anything other than ashes. This means that collars, tags, or other memorials won't fit. In addition, we advise that you never try to fit another urn (such as a box or more small memorial) into the urn you are purchasing from us. There is a very good chance that it won't fit.
The good news is that the vast majority of our customers find the perfect size the first time.

Urn Sizes: Which size should I got with?
First, we can't guarantee that any urn will be the correct size. The industry standard is one cubic inch per pound, and our urns are designed with this standard in mind. So if your loved one weighed 195 pounds, they would need an urn that is 195 cubic inches or more.
While we can't make any guarantees about the size of the urn, we are happy to report that the vast majority of our customers find that our sizes are accurate.

Can I see a mockup of my memorial prior to you engraving it?
Yes, we would be happy to provide you with a mockup. Please note that while this mockup will be very close to the final product, we work with natural materials. This means that there will be some inevitable changes in the finished product.
If you would like to see a mockup, please note that we can only provide up to two revisions. We should be able to deliver them within 24 hours of your request. If you would like to change anything, the request must be made within 24 hours of us sending you the mockup. If you fail to reply, we will send out the memorial as is.

Can you tell me more about your handmade wooden urns?
One thing that makes our wooden pet urns unique is that they are made 100% in the United States. Each piece of wood is derived from the highest grade lumber. Our expert woodworkers waste no expense making sure every urn is perfect.
We offer four different types: cherry, oak, maple, and our most popular, black walnut. Each wood type is known for there distinct and incredible features.
Every urn is completed with a clear coat finish that highlights the natural wood beauty.

My order arrived damaged. What should I do next?
If your order arrived damaged, please know that we are here to help.
Before you do anything, please BE SURE to keep the original packaging. Sometimes, shipping providers will ask to see the packaging as evidence. Without it, it may be impossible to receive a refund.
Next, please get in touch with us as soon as possible (through Etsy messages), so we can help you resolve the issue.
Please note that it helps us to have photos of the damage for our own records.
