5 out of 5 starsThese earrings are exactly as pictured and depicted. They are lightweight and fun. They really make a statement when you wear them as they are large and geometic in shape.

About MiiMyxJewelry
It started out as a hobby!
I was born and raised in suburban Detroit. The only time I have lived elsewhere is during my college years at Eastern Michigan University where I earned my bachelor degree in Fine Arts. Although it felt as if I had taken every art class offered in college, and dabbled in a zillion styles and art mediums over those years, it wasn't until 2013 that I found my love of and passion for designing and creating Jewelry.
It all started during the summer when my girls were away at camp. I had a few weeks to spend at our vacation house in northern Michigan. Quiet time. I started exploring with fibers and beading. I made a few necklaces for myself. People complimented the jewelry I was wearing often, and a lady who's store I frequently shopped, asked if I would make a few necklaces to display and sell at her store. I did, and they sold. Each time she reordered they sold! What started as my hobby, quickly became my passion and a thriving business, Mii Myx Jewelry Studio!
In April of 2014, I opened an ETSY store and enrolled in an ongoing metalsmith class. My knowledge in metals and soldering allows me to make and use my own metal components in my jewelry.
In addition to the items currently listed in my ETSY store, I do custom orders. Convo me if you are interested in a custom piece. I am happy to set up a custom listing for you.

Additional policies and FAQs
To keep your jewelry in good condition it is important to take care of it. To clean jewelry that has minimal tarnish, combine warm water and a mild dish soap and use a toothbrush to clean the surface.
All metal polishing cloths work well on most metals to remove tarnish.
Below is a short list of metals used in Mii Myx Jewelry Studio's jewelry and how to care for them. A wax polish is applied to bronze, copper, steel, silver, and oxidized silver pieces to delay oxidation/ tarnish of metals. It is not permanent and may wear off.
STERLING SILVER: 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. As silver ages it develops a tarnish. To remove and brighten the silver, use an all metal polishing cloth which can be found a jewelry supply stores.
OXIDIZED STERLING SILVER: Sterling silver has been put into a bath of liver of sulfur which speeds up the process of tarnishing making it a dark grey or black. Use a 100% cotton cloth to wipe away dirt and oil or soak in warm water and mild dish soap then dry with a soft towel. DO NOT use anything abrasive on the oxidized metal because it can be scratched.
14k GOLD FILLED: A layer of 14k gold is pressure bonded to a core of brass. This material is tarnish resistant and more valuable then gold-plated items because it contains a thicker layer of gold. Use only a soft polishing cloth or 100% cotton cloth to shine, DO NOT use anything abrasive on gold filled jewelry.
BRONZE: 85% copper and 15% zinc. Bronze is a beautiful metal that develops character as it patinas. The initial metal color is gold tone but will darken a bit as the metal oxidizes with exposure to the environment. To polish use an all metal polishing cloth. If you wish to bring back the lighter gold tone, a polishing paste of baking soda, lemon, and warm water can be used, or we like to use a very fine steel wool (#0000 found at hardware store) to remove tarnish/ patina.
COPPER: Copper is a rich metal that patinas over time as it is exposed to oxygen and the environment. If you would like to remove patina, use a fine steel wool (#0000), polishing cloth, or polish it with a cloth and a mixture of vinegar and salt.
STEEL: An alloy of iron with up to 2% of carbon. A wax polish is used on steel in Mii Myx jewelry to protect against oxidation. If the steel does develop any signs of oxidation (rust), use an fine steel wool to remove.
