This design was inspired by the Czech glass beads I fell in love with and bought....I sketched out a rough design and started by making the earrings and then moved on to the necklace

Where it all began!

About Me....
I have always had a passion for jewellery and started by making pieces using beads. After taking a foundation course in Art & Design, I went on to take a degree course in Jewellery & Metalwork at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College and graduated in 1999. I worked for several jewellery companies since graduating, including the Signet Group, but in 2009 I decided to start Mila Jewellery and work on my own designs. This year I felt I wanted to put more of an identity on my work some I am gradually migrating my branding over to Victoria Johnson Jewellery.

After living on the Norfolk / Suffolk border for several years and taking a lot of my inspiration from nature and my surroundings, I recently moved to Kent where and I'm looking forward to exploring 'The Garden of England' and developing my designs.

All of my jewellery is handmade in my own workshop. I enjoy using a range of materials to create my pieces. Some of my pieces are experimental and these are sold as one off pieces mainly at shows and craft fairs, and sometimes in the galleries that exhibit my work.

I am registered with the London Assay Office and so all my pieces are hallmarked where appropriate and stamped with my makers mark. All my gemstones and materials are ethically sourced and come from trusted suppliers.

As well as my current collections I do also do a lot of commission work. From simple wedding bands and fingerprint jewellery, to melting down old jewellery to create a more wearable piece of jewellery to be enjoyed, whilst keeping the sentimental element. If there is anything you want to know or have an idea you want to discuss then please get in touch for a chat. I am always happy to offer some advice or an estimate with no obligation.

Hello! My name is Victoria and I set up Mila Jewellery as a part time business around 5 years ago. I studied jewellery and metalwork at university and graduated in 1999. Since then I have worked mainly in the jewellery industry but in 2014 decided to take my own business full time!

I make a wide range of jewellery from silver and gold, with precious and semi precious stones and beads. I love texture and colour and use 22 ct gold plating in a lot of my work.

All pieces are hand made by myself and so please allow around 7 days for dispatch as I often make the pieces to order in case people want different colours etc and in the case of rings, I make them to the size requested. Some items may also need to be hallmarked as well so this may take a little longer.
