5 out of 5 starsThe photo is lovely. The artist's communication was great. The photo came in a reasonable amount of time, especially considering the blizzard! Would definitely recommend this seller. :)

About milemarker
-
Mile markers slide past my truck window, each a memory.
Life Is One Long Road Trip
Like so many others, I find myself far from where I was born. Far from family. Far from what I always thought of as home.
I hail from the lush Lowcountry of South Carolina, but I have also lived along the coast of North Carolina, the windswept plains of Wyoming, and most currently, the fringes of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I miss things about every place I have lived, even every place I have ever visited. A roadside sculpture of a cowboy that always reminded me I was close to home in Wyoming. A close encounter with a raven that left me in awe in Colorado. The space between two rocky islands that looked like it was infinite in Alaska. A blue door on a blue building in Pennsylvania. A flock of seagulls taking flight over the surf in South Carolina. I carry these things with me always.
I watch the mile markers slide past my truck window from memory to memory, even when I am curled up at home. All of these things are home and I am always home.
I am married and the new mom of a sweet baby girl.

Shipping
I ship via the United States Postal Service.
My photographs are printed by a third party on a per order basis. I then check every print myself before I send it out, and this can lead to a turnaround time of two weeks, though usually it is faster. If you feel something should have arrived, convo me and I'd be glad to tell you when it shipped. If, after contacting me, you believe it has been lost in the mail, please contact the post office. If the package is returned to me as "unclaimed," I will notify you and will require additional charges to reship it.
I only have shipping quotes to a few countries, but if you want an order shipped somewhere else, please convo me and I can get a quote from the post office. Shipping out of the United States frequently takes more time and can be held up in customs. Please be aware that once a package is out of the country, I have no way of locating it. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment is responsible for any of these additional fees. Please be aware of this if you are sending an item as a gift.
If you want to have your order shipped to an address that differs from what is listed on your Etsy account, please contact me with that information. If your order is a gift, let me know and I won't include the invoice. I can also include a gift message on your behalf. Jut let me know in the "Message to Seller" what you'd like to say to the recipient.
