Onesies are back!

My shop

All my life I've loved creating things, and giving them as gifts and selling them to make some extra money. I've made soy candles, sewn pin cushions, pot holders, made my own stationary and sold it to friends, did photography, busked, sold art on the street, and been a balloon artist... So when I became a mom, and decided to stay home with my baby, I naturally decided to try to start my own business. My husband and I were 20 when our first baby was born, and my husband was in his sophmore year of college, working at a restaurant part time, and playing gigs to bring in extra cash.
I decided to try my hand at block printing. My first tries were... interesting... but I kept trying. I had home births with both my babies, and was pretty passionate about it, so the Born at Home was my first real print. I started out printing on Gerber onesies, and after a couple of months of renewing my listing on Etsy, I got my first sale! Then another... and another... and eventually I was getting so many I was actually getting busy! I added a few more prints to my shop, and then switched to American Apparel and Dor Dor and Gor Gor organic onesies.
A couple of years later, I'm a SAHM to Ernie (3) and Violet (2), and my husband Ernie is working on his Masters degree now! I work during nap times, while they're playing, and after they go to sleep. I've sold onesies to Japan, the UK, Germany, Australia, New Zeland, etc...
I'm a one person operation and I make and ship everything by myself! It's a lot of work, but it's been amazing watching my business grow, meeting so many amazing new people, and being able to stay at home with my babies and have my own business.
Thanks for reading!

Additional policies and FAQs

Q: How should I wash my onesie?
A: For best results, wash on a gentle cycle, or wash by hand. I've washed them on regular cycles before, and they still look pretty good.

Q: I'm sending this to a friend. Can you wrap my onesie and add a note?
A: Sure! When you order, just let me know it's a gift and what you'd like written in the note!

Q: How much would you charge if I wanted a smaller doll?
A: A smaller doll takes just as much time and work as my normal 19" dolls, so I would charge the same :)

Q: I was wondering if you could make a personalized newborn onesie for me?
A: I can try! Please send me a conversation with your idea, and I'll let you know!

Q: Can I order a gown that says Born at Home? Thank you!
Yes, absolutely! When you place your order for the gown, choose size and color from the drop down menu and then let me know which print you'd like during checkout in NOTE TO SELLER.
