5 out of 5 starsThe paper and design were far superior to what I expected. It's almost too pretty to use. Would definitely buy from this seller again. Great Etsy shop.

5 out of 5 starsBeautiful cards, lovely packaging, colours and designs amazing and original. I really like that they're not aggressively Christmas-y so easy to share with folks who may or may not celebrate. Shipping was also really quick and Lisa the shop owner is a delight.

5 out of 5 starsSuch a beautiful paper, I really love this design! - the photos don’t do it justice. The print quality is superb and the subtly rich colours work so well against the natural colour of the paper. It was really nicely presented and arrived in good time. Everything came together to make a fantastic shopping experience, thank you so much!

Bright, fun stationery, handmade with love and sustainable materials
Hi! I’m Lisa, art lover, science enthusiast, and the one-woman show behind this growing stationery shop, Milk Thistle Paper Co.
I produce original greeting cards, gift wrap, and (soon!) other paper goods that are vivid, eye-catching, and fun! My designs mix the shapes and symmetries of the natural world with the graphic styles of comics, zines, and graffiti.
I’m committed to being kind to the earth by using only sustainable materials and production techniques. My cards are printed with plant-based inks on 100% recycled paper, and paired with unbleached, 100% post-consumer recycled envelopes. Each card rests in a protective sleeve that is made from plants and fully compostable.
All my products are designed in Guelph, Ontario, and printed locally on Canadian paper.

Gift wrapping and packaging
I make every effort to minimize the environmental impact of my business, and packaging is no exception. Cards sold individually are tucked into clear, compostable sleeves for protection from rough handling. If you purchase a four-pack, each card is in a separate sleeve and the bundle is simply bound with an offcut strip of our gift wrap, and stamped with the Milk Thistle logo. Gift wrap sheets are folded once and protected by a compostable sleeve.
Orders ship in cardboard mailers, no bells or whistles. If your order is a gift and you’re looking for a little extra oomph in your packaging, message me! I’m happy to add some decorative touches and a personalized note.
Shipping options explained
All domestic items ship via Canada Post Letter Mail. Orders to addresses outside Canada will be shipped via Canada Post Small Packet Air. Please note that delivery times are not currently guaranteed by Canada Post due to COVID-19 related delays. Due to prohibitive costs, I do not offer tracking at this time.
If your address is within Guelph city limits and you'd like to arrange to pick up your order, send me a message or add a note to your order! I'll refund your shipping costs and we can make a date.
Damaged and missing items
What if your items arrive on time, but they’ve been damaged along the way? Or worse, they don’t show up at all? Listen, we know that sometimes things don’t go according to plan. If your items show up damaged, please message us with a clear photograph and we’ll discuss where to go from there. If your package is lost in the mail, please wait until 20 days have passed (Canada) or 30 days (USA/International), then send me a message and we can talk options.
