From a sheet to a flower.
Hello everyone!
I am Flavia and I fell in love with origami about 4 years ago.
When I was a child I did not have many toys so I started drawing and painting and cutting and building and so on.
I actually live in Italy with my daughter and my love, but we are planning to move abroad.
"Mille gru" means one thousand cranes. It is a sad story about origami, love and death.
Origami is my technique. It is the ancient japanese art of folding paper without using glue or cuts. I mainly use washi or chiyogami yuzen paper, they are handmade and handprinted preciuos papers. They are really amazing!
I often use also junk paper and book pages.
I try to combine this art with eco friendly jewellery, so it can be perfectly wearable.
It is a continuous reasearch for materials, design and sustainability.

Here you will find paper jewelry, decorations and cards.
All the jewels are varnished with a transparent and waterproof coat. They are made to last in time, but it is paper and needs special care.
Don't wear them in a rainy day if you have left your umbrella at home!!! :D
I create in a smoke and pet free house.
