Announcement    Welcome to Mindy’s Bag Yard! Like any back yard, my “bag yard” features bags of varying shapes, sizes, colors, and textures, from earthy browns and naturals, to bright colors in big shapes, to smaller “blossoms” of more delicate colors. In addition to bags, I've expanded my shop to include items from my more recent fiber art ventures. These items include felted accessories such as scarves, pins, and cuffs, as well as some felted vessels. I've also been experimenting more with ecoprinting on both fabric and paper, so you'll find some bags with ecoprinting, along with some ecoprinted boxes and journals.

I’ve been sewing and crafting for many years, and I’ve always loved bags big and little—bags to tote my stuff in and bags to stow away a smaller treasure or two. Many of the bags featured in my shop are made with quality home dec fabrics, reinforced with polyester fleece or Soft and Stable inner lining. Others are wet-felted using un-spun wool fibers. I like to add dimensional elements to each bag, which may include beads, buttons, buckles, or ribbon that I’ve gathered over the years for my “resource room”. Some bags feature needle or wet felted fibers for embellishment, while others may feature collaged papers to add a completely different "fiber" element to the bag.
