5 out of 5 starsThis little guy exceeded all of my expectations. I'm a gal who just doesn't like to carry a purse. This is just the exact size I need to tuck all of my essentials in my pocket and go! I will definitely be a return customer.

5 out of 5 starsBeautiful business card holders that are slim and protect my business cards. Plus, I look extra fancy and put-together when I pull out my little protector and hand them out. I've gotten numerous compliments and directed anyone interested to the shop.

Branding the Minter Goods logo on some cork -- these will be pockets for cork card cases.

Working on a batch of baby booties with Pendleton® wool. Such gorgeous fabric -- I love it so much.

My rope bowls are made of cotton clothesline sewn in a spiral -- it is a lovely, meditative process to construct them.

Fireside sewing during a dreamy 4th of July lakeside sunset.
My name is Amy and I sew things in my smoke-free, pet-free home studio in Seattle, WA.
I grew up right here in the Pacific Northwest and I am proud to sell my wares on the crafts line at Seattle's historic Pike Place Market. I love to create beautiful, functional items that delight my customers. Simple yet elegant design, unique textures and bold color combinations make me happy.
Minter Goods is a one-woman show. Every item is designed and produced by me. I am happiest when working with my hands -- I am grateful that I get to make a living by doing what I love, and that my customers enjoy the products I make. A perfectionist at heart, I delight in the process and the details that make every Minter Goods item good enough for you. I am constantly working to improve my products and my processes.
Many Minter Goods items are made with cork fabric. This is a durable, flexible material with a really wonderful texture. It is comprised of a paper-thin layer of cork affixed to a fabric backing. The fabric backing makes it very strong, it will not tear. The bark of the cork tree (which goes on to become wine corks, flooring, cork fabric, etc.) is removed without harming the tree. The bark will grow back and be ready to harvest again in 9-12 years. Many old growth cork trees have given their bark for useful products 10+ times in their lives. Most of the world's cork trees grow in Portugal, and I've traveled there to tour cork factories and find the best cork fabric. I love the sustainable nature of this material, and my husband's family is Portuguese, so it really checks all the boxes for me.
