Announcement   a·nach·ro·nism -[uh-nak-ruh-niz-uhm]–noun - something or someone that is not in its correct historical or chronological time, esp. a thing or person that belongs to an earlier time.

My desire is to bring the time honored traditons of generations past into the modern world. In my own life, I strive to learn how things were done "Back in the Day" and bring the best of those ideas and techniques into my own home. Products are made using the best quality ingredients, and created in small batches, with attention to detail. I do not test on animals (except humans) and will sell only items I am proud to produce. There will be evolutions along the way, so check back often.

I am a proud member of the EtsyFast Team - THE Fiber Arts Street Team!

*** Please note that all Computer Monitors are different ***
I try to take pictures with the best lighting, and am as accurate as I can be with my descriptions, if you have questions, please convo me and I will do my best to answer them.

Love the woolly balls! Might have to order more as a gift. There was a delivery problem and the seller contacted me right away to let me know and also made it right. Very happy!

About

Unique and Timeless Handcrafted Goods

I have always made things with my hands, and am not real good about following other people's directions... so the items I create are unique, and one of a kind.

I enjoy using beautiful tools, and design my creations to be both beautiful and useful. I do a lot of things the old way, like your mother, did, or even her mother before her... My hand spun yarns are spun using one of several spinning wheels, my hand woven items are made on a vintage 4-harness jack loom in my living room. I offer things here for sale because I am proud of what I have made - hope you like them also!

Mr. Stacey modeled in my Grandma's sculpture class in 1969. She created his bust, and gave it to my Dad in 1970. Mr. Stacey's head has lived with us ever since. He's retired now in AZ, and his goal in life is to show off hats. He loves his work!

Welcome to Min The Weaver! My name is Mindy, and I make my home and have my studio in beautiful Mesa, Arizona – in the heart of the Desert Southwest. I love beautiful color, quality fiber and creating wonderful, original works of art by hand.

I use either natural dyes or Earth Friendly professional quality acid dyes in all of my hand dyed yarns and fibers. See my profile page for details on dyes used.

Hand woven items are produced on my vintage Leclerc Nilus 36” 4-harness loom
