Payment

You can cancel your order within 24 hrs of purchase without penalty. After the initial 24 hr period ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please read all of our shop policies and understand shipping is not included in the price of your piece and therefore an additional expense.

Kindly pay for your items within a 24 hour period once you have put them in your cart and agreed to purchase. If you need more time, please feel free to convo us to discuss your needs! Mint Home reserves the right to cancel a sale for non-payment.

We do charge Illinois State Tax for residents.

Shipping

Prior to purchase please convo with your shipping zip code for an accurate shipping rate. Shipping prices can vary greatly depending on your location.

We try to ship as soon as humanly possible. Sometimes, however, life does get in the way. We will try to ship within three business days of purchase for small home decor items through Fedex Ground. That being said, it usually takes about three to five days to receive your item from the time of purchase.

For larger furniture items as well as some larger wall hangings, we ship via Greyhound Package XPress, Con-way Freight or uship.com, depending on the weight of the piece.

- For Greyhound, we need both your Greyhound station of preference and a contact phone number to ship. Greyhound quotes 3-10 business days for your package to arrive. This is a terminal to terminal service, so you will be responsible for arranging for pickup of your piece/pieces at the station. Greyhound does have a courier service in most areas that you may set up on your end (additional fees apply) if you need delivery to your home.

- For Con-way, we will need a contact phone number to ship. We cannot complete your order without this information and cannot accept responsibility for delays in shipment because we do not have this information. Conway is priced for a terminal pickup at your closest location. You can add on an additional $50 for residential curbside delivery. For this service you will need two people to assist in getting the piece off of the truck and into your home.

- Uship.com is a great alternative for in home delivery. Their rates are comparable to Conway and Greyhound including inside delivery to your home. You are welcome to setup shipping using uship for any purchase.

Please allow up to fourteen business days before your item is shipped. Should you need the item to be held for any additional amount of time please contact us prior to purchase. Additional fees for holding the piece may apply.

Mint Home ships through third party carriers and cannot, therefore, be held liable for shipping delays, damages, or lost/stolen items. Any issues have to be reported to and taken up with the carrier responsible. We will do our utmost to assist you with claims in any way.

Refunds and Exchanges

All vintage pieces are sold as is and all sales are final. Please be sure that vintage furniture is right for your needs and home before purchase. Ask plenty of questions before purchase and request color samples as computer monitor colors can vary. We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credits as shipping large items is expensive and time consuming.

CANCELLATIONS: Can be made within 24 hours of purchase provided the item has not shipped. After the initial 24 for period all sales are final.

For large furniture items, it is imperative that you examine the condition of your package upon arrival. In order to fully protect yourself, please open your package at Greyhound or in front of a Con-way shipping professional and inspect for damage. Should you find your piece in unsatisfactory condition, do not accept the package under any circumstance. We cannot stress this enough. Once you have accepted a package, you are taking on any liability for the piece thereafter. We cannot assist you with a claim, nor can we offer you relief if you have signed for and accepted the piece. If you reject the piece, however, it can be returned to us for repair or you can opt for a refund. So, please, please take the steps necessary to protect your purchase.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Pick-up in Chicago is welcome and free for any item! Use coupon code: "localpickup" upon checkout to remove shipping charges. We are also happy to deliver curbside for a $40.00 delivery charge to the Chicago area. Please convo to discuss.

We do not hold pieces under any circumstances as we are in a very small workspace. If you need pieces held, please be aware that after the first week a $25 per week storage fee will accrue.

A note about our pieces:

We choose vintage items in all shapes, sizes, styles, and weights. Some pieces have dovetail joints and are solid wood, some are not. They are usually priced according to all these factors. Our main goal is to keep these pieces affordable for our customer while saving dated pieces from the landfill. If you have certain expectations regarding functionality or construction, please convo us to discuss.
