The life of Minty Pink Custard
Hi I'm Emma, being a young girl in the 70's and 80's I love all things retro, kitsch but by contrast shabby chic too. I'm a magpie for bright colours and I have a slight (excessive) art supply addiction.
I've always loved art, but it's only since being pregnant with my eldest daughter that I taught myself to sew. Instead of getting that 'nesting / cleaning bug ' as you do when heavily pregnant, I developed a passion for making, which just hasn't stopped. I’ve love to paint, sew, crochet, knit and anything crafty and I’m there !
I work from home in my own little studio in my garden, which I’ve named the Custard Shed, though it has been know as the Gin shed on a few occasions with friends. It’s in my little studio where I tuck myself away and I like to design and make all my goodies.
