About

mirabilia is about finding beauty in ordinary things and inspiring wonder at the world around us.

The name mirabilia comes from the power that special objects have to transform our perception in life. Every stone, shell, trinket, and piece of glass has been on a journey and though my hands shape their tale, they are really pieces of ourselves that we have lost, and we wear them to make us whole.

This is what my art has done for me, and it is my charge to tell the stories of these pieces and then send them on their way.

I’ve lived in the city for the past ten years but I grew up on a small island in south Georgia, surrounded by woods and, of course, the ocean. A love of the natural world is ingrained in me, it’s a part of everything I create. My favorite items are from that world and are often not traditionally considered “beautiful.” Bones, teeth, broken glass; to juxtapose these unconventional and somewhat morbid things against a colorful stone or a delicate chain challenges our perceptions of beauty; showing us the duality of nature and ourselves.

Please convo or email me BEFORE selecting this option and I can remove the shipping from the listing and we can arrange to meet.
Shipping
All domestic orders will be shipped for a flat rate of $4.50 through USPS from Atlanta, Georgia.
International shipping cost is $8.00 and does not cover customs fees or VAT.
These costs vary depending on the country, and they are your responsibility.

All items will be carefully and lovingly wrapped to ensure their safe delivery.
Any items that require special handling will be taken care of by me but I will not include insurance unless paid for by the buyer.
I always include a tracking number that I will provide you as soon as your item has shipped.

Times are standard through The Postal Service:
2-3 business days for domestic
6-10+ business days for international

Custom Orders Times will vary depending on the item to be made but I can usually guarantee shipping within two weeks.
Refunds and Exchanges
I will not issue a refund due to shipping damages or loss, it is your responsibility to get insurance (see above). I will do my best, however, to make you another piece but that will depend on the materials used and their availability or if the original piece is salvageable.
No refunds will be given due to an ill-fitting piece. Pictures and measurements accurately depict how an item is worn and if you have concerns about size or placement please message me before you buy so we can discuss a custom order.
All work is guaranteed and if a piece breaks within one year I will happily fix or replace it free of charge.
For items that a customer "just doesn't like", well this is an unfortunate situation but it does happen. In this instance I will refund the original amount of the item, minus the shipping and a 20% restocking fee. The customer must return the item within 1 week in the original condition to receive this refund.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are my favorite! Creating something specific to a client's personality that they can love and cherish forever is a great feeling. Please message me with your initial ideas and inspirations and we can go from there! Pricing will vary depending on design, time spent, and materials used. I will confirm each step with you before proceeding and soon you will have a (mirabilia) creation made just for you!
