My prayer flags are the outgrowth of a textile design career in the 80's and my desire to create objects that are mindful and carring. I love designing fabric, and I love that these flags disperse my prayers, my love, and those of the people who own the flags. My flags are now praying their little prayers in places like Tasmania, Australia, in baby's room all over the States, and in vehicles who carry these prayer along the road.

People ask me where they should display the flags. In the Tibetan Buddhist modality, when the air touches the flags, it takes the prayer that it touches away with it to circle the globe. I would like to think that my prayer flags have this power as well. Hang them anywhere you please, inside or outdoors. They are pretty sturdy and light fast. It will take a few years out in the weather for them to fade. Like the traditional Tibetan prayer flags, mine are not stitched around the edges, but will fray with time. Leave them there to decay, and then put them in your compost pile so that they continue their way back to the earth.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
If you are unhappy with your purchase, please feel free to return it, and I will pay for the return shipping. But before you return it, please convo me, so I will know what you are thinking. Please note that the prayer flags are not stitched around the edges, so they will fray in the wind. This method of construction is intentional. Like the Tibetan flags they are fashioned after, they will decay with time. This is a purposeful symbol of the impermanence and transitory nature of life. But change is good, and the prayer flags look pretty as they get their wind and sun touched patina. If the string breaks, you can restring them using a large sewing needle and new cord.
Payment
PayPal and credit cards are the simplest method of payment for a lot of people, so I accept this, although PayPal charges me a fee for their service. Checks are good. If you pay by check, I will wait until the check clears my account before I send out the items. Money orders are a fine way of paying, as they act like cash.
Shipping
HOLIDAY SHIPPING - last domestic ship date Dec. 21. Convo me for last international ship date.

My items are small, so I generally ship them via US Postal Service, first class. Due to the virus, I will only be going into town once a week to run errands, and ship orders. If you need your item sooner, please convo me. Thank you, and be well and safe.
