5 out of 5 starsLike some other reviews mentioned, it is a little confusing in the beginning. I think adding stitch counts would very much help. That being said, everyone writes patterns differently and I think for the price and final product I’m okay with figuring some stuff out on my own!

4 out of 5 starsSuper cute and simple pattern. Quick and easy to work up in a day and so fun ! I used two worsted weight yarns together with a 6.5 mm hook. I agree with other reviews that following the pattern exactly will end up making a pretty oversized cap. I didn’t mind the slouchy oversized look too much but I ended up doing 8 bobble rows instead of 9 and decreased in my last row by splitting a bobble across two gaps (two unfinished dc in each gap) every 5 gaps or so to take the bottom in before the final sc row. I love the way it turned out although if I did another one I’d probably leave out an increase row to make it less slouchy. It really just depends on the style you are looking for !

5 out of 5 starsPattern is great! I love the hat, perfect for autumn! I just altered the edges a little bit because mine weren’t naturally wavy

5 out of 5 starsTook me a few times to get sizing right, I ended up using a 3.5mm hook and following the small size - this turned out perfect and my friend loved it. Crochets up quickly too :)

5 out of 5 starsi just finished making myself a hat and i screwed up the counts of the fpdc on each round (im pretty sure there’s supposed to be 12 in each row but i ended up with 11 instead) but the hat itself fits really well! i would suggest that you should play around with the amount of dcs in the first row (ie instead of doing 12, maybe try doing 10 or 11 instead) for a more well fitting and snug hat. overall i didn’t have any issues with the pattern, and while stitch count would have been beneficial, i think that the counts are pretty self explanatory in itself — you’re just repeating the same thing over and over so all of your stitches should add up to the same thing in each “section”.
