I specialize in creating quality, demi-fine jewelry and like to incorporate cultured pearls in my designs.

I hold a Graduate Pearls Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) - Carlsbad Campus and am a Certified Pearl Specialist with the Cultured Pearl Association of America.

I've been in love with pearls since I was a little girl. I have been designing jewelry for 20 years and have been fortunate enough to have my designs featured in several bead/jewelry trade magazines throughout the years.

I write articles on various topics related to the jewelry field and work as a freelance copywriter and copyeditor. Although I mostly write for other jewelers, jewelry retailers and people in the gem and jewelry industry under my company Shelly Buettner Copy, I also write for solopreneurs and small businesses in many other industries too, such as travel & tourism, self-help, personal and spiritual growth, mindfulness and matters of the heart.
