5 out of 5 starsSusie was so helpful and patient with our requests/changes to our ketubah. The writings on her site were so beautiful and when we received our ketubah (which was perfectly packaged to keep it clean and safe), it was as stunning as we expected. Thank you!!

5 out of 5 starsBeyond gorgeous. Beyond words. I’m so happy with this, and this seller. If you’re in the market for a ketubah of ANY kind. Use this seller. So flexible, changed it exactly how we wanted. The print quality was spectacular. I cannot emphasize the beauty and quality and individuality.

5 out of 5 starsWe loved working with Susie to craft a personalized ketubah! We found a design we loved and emailed her about different colors (that were not listed) and she was quick to get back to us with exactly what we were hoping for. Not only was the artwork beautiful, but she did a great job fitting the text in to match the overall structure. The ketubah itself is beautifully printed and looks great even in a 20x20 size. She had an incredibly fast turnaround time as well.
About SusieLubell
It started with Heidi
Before I was a painter I was a lot of other things. A teacher. A waitress. A grant writer. A backpacker. A student. A marketer. A copywriter. A mommy.
In 2008 my dear friend Heidi asked if I would create her ketubah, a traditional Jewish marriage certificate. She had attended the birth of my first son so this was our trade. I had made my own ketubah and a few others for family but it had been a while. But I found that the project, instead of depleting an already tired full-time working mama, it filled me up. It actually gave me energy.
So I took a creative life coaching course with a wonderful coach name Laura Geduldig in Oakland, California and through that experience I created a plan for myself to grow my portfolio, spread the word, quit my day job and start my business.
In the five years since I began this experiment my work has been included in galleries and private collections throughout the United States and in Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Italy, Mexico, Israel, Sweden, Hong Kong and Singapore including the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital of Palo Alto which hosts the entire collection of my watercolor animal illustrations. I currently have licensing agreements with Hallmark and Calypso Cards and in addition to ETSY, I sell online at Gallery Judaica, Rosenberry Rooms and Kids-Art.com, plus several Judaica shops in California including The Skirball Museum in LA, Dayenu in San Francisco and Afikomen in Berkeley.
In 2011 my husband and I moved with our three kids to a lovely hamlet in the hills outside of Jerusalem. I chronicle life here and all it entails - parenting, cultural differences, the physical beauty of this place, our family adventures, my creative journey - on my blog (see link to the right).
Thanks for stopping by!

Shop policies
Thank you for visiting. Please come on over to www.susielubell.com for more information, news, and faqs.
A quick word about quality: When you purchase a ketubah print you'll receive an archival, fade-resistant high quality piece of art printed on museum etching paper that has the look and feel of actual watercolor paper (the thick and rubbly stuff). Mixed media prints are printed on satin finish canvas and stretched on wood stretcher bars. The originals are professionally photographed and color corrected to print exactly like the originals.
