The belt is perfect for my independent preschooler. She can easily do the belt by herself. Quality is great! Love how it is adjusted in the back.

Really lovely, made daughter's holiday outfit complete. Thank you.
I didn't know it was my dream until I started doing it
I didn't realize that I wanted to run my own business until I started doing it. I didn't even know that the things I made were appealing to an audience outside of my daughter until my husband convinced me to open a shop. I didn't quite believe in myself...and then I had a sale...and another sale...and another.
My shop really started gaining momentum in 2010, and I was able to dedicate a lot of time to creating my wares and marketing. I had to put it all on hold when I had another baby. Once I got my feet under me again, I was selling in several local shops and had a growing following online. Then another wrench: we moved to a new state. I'm starting to feel acclimated, and even sell some items at a local boutique. I don't feel totally settled here, though. We're in a rental house that lacks any functional work space for me. My sewing machine is set up in a dark corner of the attic room. I anxiously await our new house, which has a dedicated studio space. I have been compulsively planning the space, complete with a new cutting table, and furiously pinning organizing solutions on Pinterest. (By the way, you can follow me here: www.pinterest.com/vpgross).
It won't be long before I build up my momentum again. I'm happy to sell things now...I will be even happier when I'm in my new studio!
I'm a mom to two great kids. I started my accessories business in 2009 when my husband convinced me to start selling the creations I made for my daughter. I'm addicted to my sewing machine, reading blogs, and cooking.
