A vintage love affair.

Vintage clothing seems to have always been part of my life. My grandmother was a professional dressmaker and taught me French seams, bound button holes and couture detailing. Growing up in a creative home I was wearing "dress up" vintage as a child. Upcycling was a way of life since hand-me-downs always needed altering. I'd stitch them up into my own creations... adding lace to my schoolgirl tights and plaid skirts!

At school in Vermont I dug through old barns and attics to come up with my wardrobe of Victorian skirts, Edwardian blouses and Flapper petticoats. Then on to NYC where I worked for top vintage dealers, learning restoration skills from seamstresses who worked on the finest garments at the Met. They completed what my grandmother had started... a lifelong love of fine craftsmanship. My favorite way to sew is simply a needle, thread and patience.

I've been charmed and surprised by vintage clothing for many years. Here in my shop you'll find an ever-changing collection of garments that continue to delight me... from their timeless grace, sophistication and craftsmanship to their simple whimsy.

And I still put lace on my stockings!

Important regarding international buyers... international shipping quotes are general. Please contact me for a shipping price to your own country as l may be able to ship for less.

I accept Paypal and credit cards through Etsy's Direct Payments as well as Paypal. Payment is always due at time of purchase.
I ship twice weekly. If you have a rush in receiving an item please let me know and I'll do my best.* I ship through the USPS as economically as possible and am happy to offer combined shipping on standard shipping.

If I miscalculate shipping charges on an item I will refund the extra charges rounded to the next dollar after the cost of basic materials.

Internationally I ship First Class International unless the item is too large for that service and then I ship Priority. I automatically insure items over $45.00. Combined shipping will be configured through communication after an item is purchased.

Also, regarding international shipping, please contact me for the cost to ship an item to you. I will always do my best to get you the lowest cost I can. The price quotes on the etsy chart are general international charges. I can sometimes do better when giving shipping quotes for individual countries. I ship to anywhere serviced by the USPS. I do not ship to APO/FPO/DPO locations.

International buyers are responsible for any additional fees charged by their countries. Please do not ask me to falsify customs documents. I cannot do that for you. Please contact me if you would like to upgrade to Priority or Express Mail and I'll adjust your fees to include these charges.

I no longer ship to Mexico, Brazil & Italy due to unreliable shipping within those countries.

All my sales over $100.00 must be insured. All shipping, insurance and tracking are paid for by the buyer.

Though I take great care in packing and shipping, any item lost or damaged on route is the responsibility of the buyer and must be dealt with via the USPS.

*NOTE: Express shipping is only available under certain circumstances for an additional charge within the US. Please contact me to see if I can accomodate your request.
Refunds and Exchanges
I take great care in photographing and describing my items and am also happy to answer any questions prior to purchase. So, please keep in mind that all sales are considered final.


Please be aware that sizing labels on vintage clothing & shoes, are usually dated. I will quote these sizes when on the garment but I highly recommend using the measurements I've listed. All my items are measured with the item laying flat. It would be best for you to measure your own personal garment this way and then compare the measurements to make sure this item will fit. If you have any questions concerning the measurements on an item, please don’t hesitate to convo me. PLEASE NOTE: I do not offer refunds due to an item not fitting.


Almost all vintage clothing has some imperfection... a slight fading, a small pull, a bit of wear, small mends... faint or slight issues that are to be expected with vintage garments. Please note that all of the items listed here are vintage and most are pre-owned and pre-worn. All are at least 20 years old. As a result these items may show some normal wear and imperfections. I check over all items carefully and anything really note worthy will be mentioned in the listing. I always do my best in this regard. All of my items are sold "as is.”


Color variations can occur between what you see and what I've listed that are beyond my control due to the differences between monitor calibrations. So, if you have any questions regarding wear, or any questions at all, please convo me before purchasing and I'll do my best to answer your questions prior to purchase.


Refunds are only available if I have grossly misrepresented an item and only after the item has been returned and inspected. Shipping costs to return the item to me so please be aware of this before purchasing.


If an item arrives damaged, you must keep the item and package materials as originally received and contact me immediately. If the packaging is not retained, no claim can be filed and no refund will be given.

For First Class International I use Shipsaver Insurance. Below is a statement from Shipsaver:

"All packaging material and damaged goods must be kept in the original form as received. Packaging and damaged goods should not be disposed of, released to the shipping carrier, or returned to the seller before a claim is completed. Failure to comply can result in the denial of the claim.

During the claims process, a claim statement/affidavit signed by the recipient (or intended recipient) will be required. This is a form document provided by Shipsurance that allows the recipient (or intended recipient) to indicate loss or damage."

If these procedures are not followed, no claim can be processed and no refund will be given.
