About

Plain and Simple

I was never career oriented and never been one for punching a time clock. A child of the '60s that has never lost her free spirit. Thru the years I have been blessed with a family of three wonderful kids and am now enjoying the fruits of my labor. My love of animals has provided me with a constant source of four-legged companionship. I have had horses, goats, a rabbit, dogs, cats and tons of wild critters. Loving the primitive and farmhouse way of living, I am forever searching for those old items that have been left behind or tossed aside. Many of them I pass on to you....for your own pleasure or to add to your shop. When I find time, I am in my flower gardens or stitching away at my sewing machine.

Living in West Virginia is truly Almost Heaven. Though not as deep in the country as I wish, I own a little piece of it on a foothill just 4 miles from town. I have been collecting old things for about 40 years and love sharing them with you.

Frequently asked questions

Do you accept Paypal?

Absolutely! I no longer accept mail orders or personal checks.

How do you ship your items?

First, I believe in recycling, so you more than likely will receive your purchase in a previously used box. However, your item will be wrapped in fresh, clean materials. Second, I use the USPS. For items 13 ounces or less, I will use First Class. And for items heavier, I use the cheapest way possible to ship to you.....either Priority, Parcel Select or Media Mail.

Do you ship internationally?

No, not usually.

What about returns?

Returns can be costly for both of us. There is no reason you should ever have to return your purchase. I take excellent pictures and describe in detail the item and it's flaws. Study my pictures, read the description and ask questions. Buyer's remorse will result in return of the purchase price only....NOT the shipping costs.

Do you combine shipping costs?

Absolutely I do when it is feasible. I will not ship heavy, bulky items in the same box with delicate or fragile items. It just makes sense.
