Announcement   My work is a reflection of my love of form, function, color & texture. The joy, for me, is in the making. I always look for the "fun" in "function". My pride as a craftsperson is to offer a high level of technical excellence (beautiful AND useful!) I am a potter by profession, and the work I sell here is the same work you would get at any of the galleries representing me.

All work is microwave, dishwasher and food safe, and made for everyday use. No molds are used, and the designs are my own. My signature "beading" glaze is wonderfully tactile, durable, and my own formulation.

What Makes Handmade So Special?

Hand-made ceramics are very unique: no two pieces are ever alike. My beady glaze, in particular, comes to life in the kiln, moving about to create it’s unique, tactile surface.

Sometimes the glazes touch and kiss. Sometimes, a little drip. A bowl might be ever-so-slightly warped. Sometimes beads will separate to reveal larger surfaces of the clay underneath. That's the beauty!

This is artisinal, “small batch” Handmade. All work is designed and made by me in my Brooklyn studio. No molds are used to create the pieces. No machines are used to apply the glaze. We do our best to match sizes and color lots. Every effort is made to ensure that items meant to stack and nest will do so beautifully, but be aware there are no identical twins. Every piece will be functionally sound and uniquely beautiful.

All work is dishwasher, microwave and food-safe. It is made to be durable enough to use every day, however, it is not unbreakable.
RETURN POLICY - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase please contact me immediately. We take great pride in our work and want you to be happy. However, each item is unique in it's own way, and refunds will only be given in the case of defect or breakage in shipping. Work that is broken in transit will be replaced immediately, at no cost to the customer. In the event of one of a kind pieces, a full refund will be given.

AGAIN, Kindly bear in mind the unique qualities of handmade work as I’ve noted above.

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs on returns or exchanges. Please contact me prior to sending an item so that I know when to expect it. PLEASE pack the item well, I WILL NOT refund or a piece that broke during return shipping.
BREAKAGE POLICY
Although I pack all ware VERY conservatively, breakage sometimes happens, and it sucks. Please contact us immediately if your order arrives broken or damaged. The damaged piece will be replaced immediately, except in the case of one-of-a-kind pieces, where a full refund, including shipping, will be given. All work is shipped UPS Insured, unless requested otherwise. Again, you must let me know IMMEDIATELY if your order arrives broken or damaged. We cannot refund or replace damaged work that has been received more than 14 days prior.

Sorry, but no refunds or replacements can be given for work damaged or broken during normal, everyday use and care.

I pack everything to exceed UPS standards, but occasionally, breakage does happen, and it sucks. Please let me know as soon as possible if there is any damage to your items. I will replace items broken in shipping ASAP at no extra cost to you if you report the breakage within 7 days of receipt. In return, save your packaging materials so that I may file a claim with UPS.

****
CUSTOM DINNERWARE
