Missy Minzy...the place where dreams come true!

Hi! I’m Irene Tan, the artist/illustrator behind the label Missy Minzy. Welcome into my little world of creative happiness!

I describe myself as an illustrator with a heartbeat. This heartbeat is my cute little fantasy girl called Minzy, and her magical mushrooms. I created her before my first daughter was born.

I have more than 15 years of professional working experience in various industries, from a graphic designer to a packaging designer to an advertising designer...and now I’m an illustrator!

Originally from Malaysia, has lived in Melbourne for over a decade before relocated to live in Canberra, with a loving husband and our two gorgeous daughters. I really adore creating things which make people smile!

All of my illustrations are hand drawn. I colour them either digitally or with traditional media, such as watercolour or designer gouache. Then I give my work a special touch by enhancing the details with some textures or surface pattern design. My style and design is always changing, depending on what inspires me! 

So why did you choose the name Missy Minzy, you ask? Minzy is my little nickname in the cyber world. I started Missy Minzy to have a creative platform to enjoy, let loose and have fun creating, during my “me time”!

Being able to create keeps me sane during the multi-tasking commitment of bringing up my children, and most of all, it keeps me happy!! After all, life is but a dream! :)

Since starting Missy Minzy, one of my biggest highlights was when my recent artwork submission made it to Lilla Rogers Studio's Top 50 Semi-Finalists in the Global Talent Search, in August, 2013. This is a well-known illustration agency who representing artists internationally!

I would like to see some of my illustration and artwork going places where it continues bringing joys into others' heart just as much as I created it.

I hand-draw all of my illustrations, and I print and custom make everything myself. So apart from creating all of the masterpieces which you see in my store, I am also the one who takes good care of your orders, replies to your Etsy convos, emails, and carefully packs and ships your goodies to you.

Returns and exchange details
We work hard to ensure all goods are well packaged before sending. Unfortunately, we do not take responsibility for any goods which are damaged in transit via Australia Post. We DO NOT cover items that go missing in the post. If you require insurance/registered post for an item, please contact us for a quote before purchasing from our store.



Returns:
For Prints/Temporary Tattoos/Greeting Cards/Handmade Brooches/Pins/Tote Bags/Removable Fabric Wall Decals only.
If you wish to return your purchase, you must contact us WITHIN 7 DAYS of receiving the item. We will do our best to solve the situation, but we require that the item be shipped back in an original, re-sellable condition. You will receive a refund after we have received the returned goods. The refund will cover the purchase price of the good, excluding postage.

We do not refund return shipping costs. All orders cannot be returned/refunded please be clear when purchasing your order from my store. Please refer to the images provided and feel free to ask any questions you may have about an item before you purchase.

Please note:
1. Colours of prints/temporary tattoos/greeting cards/handmade brooches are represented as close to real life as possible. As computer's monitors can show things a little differently with colour. Please allow for slight variations from screen to finished products!

2. The appearance of Temporary Tattoos can be varies depending on the colour of your skin.
Payment
We accept payment via PayPal. PayPal is a secure third party payment processor. You do not need a PayPal account to pay for your order. Simply choose the option which asks, "Don't have a PayPal account?" to pay via credit card and follow the instructions. PayPal is the secure way to pay online without sharing your financial details with me or any other person you purchase from.
Shipping
All items are shipped via Australia Post. Your product will be sent flat and sealed in a clear cellophane bag, in a rigid envelope for protection (unless advised otherwise in the product description). Please note that frames are not included in any purchases.

We always ship your items to your PayPal shipping address. Please make sure your shipping address on PayPal is correct! If your PayPal and Etsy shipping addresses are different, please let me know your preference through an Etsy convo. It is not our responsible for any order once it left our hand. We do not take any responsible if you provide the wrong address. It is your responsible to make sure your address is correct. We do not take responsibility if you change your mind. So please choose properly before making a purchase from our store. Any resending of the same order will be at your own cost.

Any additional fees (customs, duty charges, postage fees, etc.) that may result once your goods arrive in your country is your responsibility. We will not lie on custom forms and we cannot pay for them.

Do you need Shipping Insurance? (at your own additional cost):
Do let us know if you would like to pay additional insurance cost on top of your order. It is not our responsible to guarantee time frame when will your order to be arrived once it left our hand. As it depends on your country's customs and/or post delivery officers. Please understand that this is out of our control once it left our hand. So, if you like to add on the shipping insurance, please convo us. We can arrange that to happen.
