The company started out and remains small at it’s core. We design the furniture & stay “hands on” with milling and assembly of production of the pieces you see here on our site and in our store. Scalability is a key function with this talented team of skilled craftsmen, employing at times, as many as 12 people when the jobs call for it (or extended family as they see it). Quality is the cornerstone of this company. We all work toward the common goals of continual improvement in the way we build our products, work together as a team, communicate with each other and our customers and derive as much pleasure, pride and satisfaction from our work as is humanly possible.

Returns and exchange details
All sales are final. We warranty our product against manufacture defects and material defects to the original purchaser.

We understand at times plans change. Please give us a call and we can do what we can to help you out.
Items in stock require payment in full at time of purchase. For custom items or items not in stock, 50% deposit is required and the balance due at time of shipping.
We calculate our Shipping / Freight rates via common carriers.

If your order contains furniture or other heavy items we will receive your order and get back to you to discuss the cost of shipping to complete your order.

** We do not process orders without customer consent on shipping / freight or delivery costs. **

We ship your items via common carrier freight companies. Your order will be pending until we are able to communicate to you the shipping / final freight costs. You will need to approve this amount prior to confirming the sale.

All orders received are fulfilled within 8-10 weeks of receipt of payment as many items are custom made especially for you here in our workshop in Sandpoint, Idaho, USA.

Free shipping is not offered at this time. *** Please contact us for your freight quote by giving us your address prior to closing orders.
We offer a flat delivery/ 50.00 shipping fee to our local Sandpoint, Idaho 83864 USA area only. ***


We do not accept returns, unless there was substantial damage incurred during the shipment / freight / delivery process.

To return a damaged item, our valued customers have 2 options:
OPTION 1.) Please REFUSE DELIVERY of your item by NOT SIGNING for it with the Common Carrier freight company on the day of delivery. This option is available to you only if you observe either - substantial or major damage of your item(s). Please alert the common carrier freight company that you see the damage and then take a picture of the area(s) affected. Again, please DO NOT SIGN FOR YOUR SHIPMENT. This is very important!!

Please do not have them unload your item, instead just ask them to send it back to us. We are sorry if this unfortunate event happened but please note we have made arrangements with our shipping companies to return any damaged item(s) at NO additional charge to you.** The only exception to this is if you accept delivery and take the items anyways. ** // **Additional freight costs will be incurred by you if you accept damaged items** Please inspect your goods prior to accepting your freight as shipments over long distances can be very costly to return. Misty Mountain will Not pay for any freight on any return if the first shipment was accepted and signed for on the day of delivery.

OPTION 2.) Accept delivery of freight - even if you have observed or discovered some very MINOR DAMAGE of your furniture item(s).
When minor damage was discovered or observed the day of your delivery, receive the item(s) into your home. Then, please alert us to the small repair issue you need help with. We will need a picture sent showing us the issue, Misty Mountain will pay for your local repairman or woodworker to fix your issue. *This bid must be approved for by us, and it must be a bid within reason. If your bid from your local repairman seems high, or unreasonable then Misty Mountain will Not pay for your repair. We will need to become involved in helping you find a better second alternative to help fix the problem.

Please contact us direct as we find the best solution many times is to try and avoid moving the item twice. We would like to reduce or eliminate any possibility of further damage that could be incurred. Each shipping / freight / delivery situation is unique so please feel free to email us your name, along with the picture of your furniture damage you observed.

You will be given a return authorization approval by Misty and we will advise you on your options.
Misty Mountain will either repair the item(s) and/or make the item again and ship out a second time at NO extra charge to you. Again, please contact us right away, we want to help you fix the issue. Our shop number is: 208 265-4190. If major damage was found and you have the freight company send the item(s) back to Misty Mountain. We will make the necessary repairs or the item will be replaced and shipped back to the customer at no cost.

How to properly receive items:

1- Look for damaged packaging, if found please note this on the drivers paperwork.
2- Look for damaged product behind the packaging, if no damage is found then accept your item(s), sign the release form and give this back to your driver.
**Very important** If substantial or major damage is discovered, refuse delivery and please call us right away at (208) 265-4190. Again, REFUSE to take the damage item(s) off the truck.

When there is no visible damage to the packaging, sign for and unpack the product carefully as to be able to re-use the packaging if necessary. While unpacking carefully inspect for damage. If you discover damage while in your home:
1. Take photos of damage and document the damage in writing and send pictures and documentation back to Misty Mountain. Digital photos sent by email are the most efficient. Misty Mountain then assesses the damage and determines possible methods of repair or replacement. To guarantee a successful claim, minor or major damage must be noted on the bill of lading with your signature of receipt. We will do our best to provide you with the best customer service to remedy the situation, thank you!
