Beautiful artwork! I really like the portrait she made for me. And the service has been most excellent. Whenever things went slow, she sent me updates. And a chibi as well as the drawing got delayed! Will definitely recommend this shop!

Am so very pleased with the artwork I got, especially since I had no actual references to offer for this character. Only my description of him, and the art turned out fabulous. <3 I got regular updates on the progress, and even to watch the shading being done on livestream, that was pretty awesome, as I live on the other side of the globe. Will definitely be back for more comissions!

A bit bigger than trading card size; even more wonderful in detail than the version posted on her deviantart account. Arrived very quickly ( save for my post office being epic fail and losing it for a few days ) in a plastic sleeve to protect it. Also came with a nice surprise for me, <3. Just like she says in the shop info. Wonderful purchase, n_n! Can't wait to order more.
There are very few things in this world I'm unwilling to attempt to draw at least once. If you ask me for something that I would be uncomfortable drawing because I don't quite feel my skill level is up to par, I will turn down your request. I pride myself on the quality of my work, but I'm not about to have you pay for something I know I can't properly render.
–––––– IMPORTANT: About Commercial Works
The services I provide in this shop are for non-commercial work only! Art is to be used for personal purposes only and may not be used for resale unless you discuss this with me before hand, we have a contract in place, and you buy exclusive rights to the image produced. As a general reference for all costs, I refuse to work for less than $20.00 an hour, and you MUST purchase the rights to an image I've rendered in order to reproduce it commercially. If you are interested in commercial work, please send your inquiry to mixedmayhemstudios [!at] gmail.com. Thank you!
If ever in doubt, please don't hesitate to ask! I do not mind inquiries. Just send me a convo or email me at mixedmayhemstudios [!at] gmail.com. I appreciate questions, and I am generally available from 7:00am to 9:00pm US Central Time.
Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
All sales of prints and custom artwork are final. Preliminary sketches will be provided only once for lesser works (sketches, chibis, etc). An initial work in progress sketch will be provided for detailed, color works such as watercolor paintings, pencil, marker rendering, and digital paintings. I will provide only one revision after the preliminary sketch has been submitted to you for approval.
–––––– Damages for Pre-Made Items
If your prints are damaged in transit I am more than happy to send you a replacement free of charge, but you must contact me within 14 days of receiving your package. No refunds will be issued for damaged goods, but I can and will send you a replacement.
–––––– Damages for Custom, Made to Order Items
If you ordered custom made, traditional artwork, I unfortunately will not be able to re-create a second image for you if it is damaged in transit unless you re-purchase custom services from me. This is due to the time constraints creating art requires and the cost of my resources. The good news is, because I scan all of my work, I can reproduce a print for you free of charge. It's not the same as the original, but it's what is available as a back up should all else fail.
Payment is due in full at the time of your order unless what you're requesting costs more than $75.00 for me to create. If you need to split up payments for something crazy, we can discuss arrangements. I will request an initial non-refundable deposit for split-payments. In general, I won't start working on your art until I've received payment, and you won't receive the final work until your order is paid in full. Additional fees for split payments may apply due to Etsy and Paypal fees incurred.
–––––– Cancellations & Non-Payment
Should you cancel your order after I've already started it, or you do not follow through on making a final payment, I reserve the right to sell both the original work and reproductions (prints) to compensate for the time wasted and funds lost.
–––––– Prices & Fees
Paypal fees and applicable taxes are included if payment is made in full when making your initial order.
Generally shipping costs are $4.95 flat rate via USPS Priority Mail and generally arrives within 2-3 days of having been shipped within the domestic U.S.
–––––– International Shipping
If you live in another country or outside the domestic U.S. I can check what the rate for you would be. It's usually no more than $13.95 USD, and I have no issues with visiting the post office to ship internationally. Please also note that you are responsible for any fees incurred through customs.
Due to the fragile nature of original artwork and the occasional inconsiderate mail delivery person whom bends perfectly flat, plainly marked DO NOT BEND mailers, insurance is added to the shipping price on all orders pending that it is allowed by my mail carrier for your country. I purchase insurance through ShipSaver to keep costs low. If your country does not allow insurance, I can a.) refund you the fee ($1.00 US, $1.25 Int'l) or b.) remove the fee from the listing prior to your purchase.
If you would like to have a confirmation number and/or tracking for your package, please let me know before purchasing so that I can adjust the cost of shipping to reflect your needs.
Please leave me feedback, if you can, when you receive your order so that I know your art has arrived to you safely, and in one piece. Tracking information lets me know someone accepted the package and/or that it was delivered if you opt for it, but it doesn't tell me if the package is... still intact.
Additional policies and FAQs
This depends upon what you're asking for! I'm pretty speedy when I have free time. I am, however, employed full time and have a 2 hour commute daily, so weekends are generally when I get the most done. Chibis and smaller digitally rendered work like portraits usually don't take more than 1 whole hour to complete. If you're concerned, please ask. I am more than happy to keep you updated on the status of your commission. Completing everything as soon as possible is my priority. I do, after all, hope to make a full time job out of this some day. ♥
